  1. So, I'll try posting here. On Kerbalx.com, there's a craft "A1 Mining SSTO 2a" by "shakefu." (Stock, SPH, 1.1.2) I'd like to ask the designer some questions. I see no shakefu on Kerbal Space Program Forums. There is a "shake", and various others that have "shake" in their names, but rather than random guessing...... scooby dooby doo, shakefu, where are you?
  2. So, I notice planted flags (at least on Kerbin) still tend to fall out of the ground--- and then slide downhill---- when you restore a saved game. Also, sometimes when I haven't planted a flag, when I restore a saved game it doesn't seem to be in the Kerbal's inventory. But if you run around a bit, it reappears in his inventory.
  3. The Nostromo crew in Alien (1979) Kerbalized. Kane, Lambert, Dallas, Parker, Ripley, Brett, Ash. Alien vs. Kerbal Made with the unfortunately now-defunct Kerbalizer.
  4. Ok, I see what's happened now. It's more that the saved games have changed slightly in longitude and latitude. So flags positioned near Easter Eggs are now a bit off. When I walked the Kerbal over to those coordinates on Duna (30° 20′ 30″ S 28° 48′ 37″ W) (Again, with Terrain detail set to HIGH from the main menu) The Mars Curiosity camera is still there.
  5. So, previously on Kerbal Space Program.... If you had terrain set to HIGH from the main menu, On Duna: " The camera which looks like that of the Curiosity rover, buried in the soil (visible on only high terrain detail at 30° 20′ 30″ S 28° 48′ 37″ W) You'd see the camera sticking out of the sand. I no longer see that. Also, from my saved game, my flag has fallen over. Can anyone confirm, or am I just looking in the wrong place? --------------------------------------------- also, looking at the Kerbal wiki Easter Egg list: http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/List_of_easter_eggs I see one listed I've never seen before, a large orange circle on Bop. Large Orange Circle (4° 44′ 24″ S 72° 46′ 12″ W) Is that new with 1.1, or has it been around awhile?

  7. Dracoduck... yeah, kind of like the duck-dragons in the old Atari 2600 Adventure!
  8. So the Kerbal wiki list of Easter Eggs mentions a new one on Laythe. http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/List_of_easter_eggs "A creature-like island". I think it's just pareidolia, not an intentional easter egg. Agree or disagree?
  9. I wasn't really formally trying to do this challenge, but I did try to get close to the Sun. Used to be, you could get within 1.3 kilometers of the Sun before exploding, I'm assuming things changed with 1.0. I've got a Kerbal riding on the outside of the probe like Slim Pickens in Dr. Strangelove. What I found: under 1.4 million kilometers exterior kerbal explodes under .6 million kilometers nuke engines & batteries explode under .216 million kilometers PB150 Xenon Container, IX-6315 "Dawn" Propulsion unit explode
  10. I've never seen anybody post about this: Can we glean anything from the starfield as seen in the Kerbal solar system? In the Southern hemisphere, there's one particularly large/bright star that might suggest we're in a binary system. in the Northern hemisphere, there's a blob that I guess is supposed to be a nebula. Or maybe a distant galaxy.... Could it be that this starfield is a simulation of what it might look like x number of lightyears from Earth, or do we assume it was completely randomly generated? Anybody make constellations out of the patterns? Jeb the Archer, or whatever....

The mysterious Mohole at Moho's North Pole: http://s22.photobucket.com/user/planettom/media/KSP2015/mohole_zpsrxnyresy.jpg.html At the bottom of the Mohole on Moho. http://s22.photobucket.com/user/planettom/media/KSP2015/mohole2_zpsornze9vg.jpg.html 194 meters is as deep as I could go (nearly 5 kilometers deep).
