  1. I use these wings for all kinds of sci-fi replica builds, absolutely essential.. my question is about compatibility with UbioZur Welding Continuum (or something like that, the version of the welding mod known to still work). How difficult would it be to write a cfg that translates what procedural wings writes to a craft file into usuable parts for the welder?
  2. I haven't even installed it yet, (I'm about to) but i can already tell that this is a permanent addition to my mod list. My friends are always requesting various ships from sci-fi, and I've been missing this exact thing for detail/structural. I'm just starting to think about all the uses I'm going to put these babies to.. epic stuff!! Thanks a quadrillion! (goes without saying, but thanks for ALL the other mods you've been holding down too!)
  3. First off, great idea Syntax! Secondly, do you have any plans to offer a second version compatible with RSS?
  4. I made a TweakScale configuration file for this, I haven't tested everything out yet, but the few parts I've tried so far seem to work. I'll paste a few of the entries here, and if anyone wants the whole thing let me know. Just copy and paste these into a new text file. Save it as HLAirships_Tweakscale.cfg, or something like that (it doesn't matter per say), in the HLAirships folder in GameData. Obviously you need to have TweakScale and Module Manager installed. I'm not sure of the limit per post, and I don't have a dropbox, so just a few of the total entries: @PART[LedZep2R] // Led Zep2R Rigid Airship { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = free defaultScale = 100 } } @PART[ZepR2MotorMount] // ZepR2MotorMount { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = surface defaultScale = 1.25 } } @PART[ZepTailFin] // AIrship Universal stabiliser { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = surface defaultScale = 1.25 } } @PART[ProtoLiftBody] // Probe Sized Air Envelope { %MODULE[TweakScale] { type = stack defaultScale = 1.25 } }
  5. Do you know if there's a modding resource anywhere for the migration from 1.0.5 to 1.1(.x)?
  6. That is almost certainly not the case, not the least reason for which would be the fact that this mod uses context menus, and those have migrated from basically individual modules to one single module in Unity 5. Also I tried it and no-can-do. I wish you the best on your efforts, this is a much appreciated mod that should really be in stock, I mean I'm fairly certain that wearable parachutes pre-date the space age, and as far as being a component in a simulation, it fits like a glove. (plus I miss powered parasailing on Duna with my eva thrusters.)
  7. Is anyone working on updating this for 1.1? I think we can all agree that would be stellar!
  8. For me holding Ctrl, then Alt, and finally 'P' in that order works in Ubuntu 14.04. BahamutoD you should add that info for Linux users to the OP.. it took me a few days to figure this out. (Don't laugh..)
  9. I recently updated to version 2.2.6.0, and I can no longer scale any parts. The slider is completely missing from the right click menu on every part, even stock parts. Are there any known mod conflicts which cause this? Am I the only one experiencing this rather disappointing bug? I will gladly provide a log file if this is a new one.
  10. Bind "Arm/Disarm" in the weapon manager to one of your action groups, or click the large button that does the same thing in the BDArmory menu (top left button), while the missile you want is selected as the current weapon. I think that's what you're missing..?
  11. Update on the broken launchpad/runway glitch: I was able to reproduce the bug again, however this time I figured it out (I'm fairly certain). In Linux, instead of 'create a shortcut' there's 'make a link'.. I had been launching KSP from a link on my desktop, and it would appear that this somehow convinces BDArmory's (and some of KSP's -- the output log and physics files etc kept appearing on the desktop too) file searching that the desktop is the root game directory! It explains why it would have been searching on my desktop for GPSTargets.cfg and Settings.cfg, and it works perfectly if I browse to the KSP folder and launch right from there. So, Linux (or Ubuntu exclusively?) is the problem, not BDArmory specifically, and the fix is simple if mildly inconvenient. Squashed!!
  12. Thanks, haha like two seconds after I posted that, you put up another update.. I just had to refresh the github page. Keep up the stellar work!
  13. Hey BahamutoD, I just tried the latest version (0.10.3.1) in an otherwise stock install, and did NOT experience the weird floating-off-to-space/can't-launch-anything bug!!! Everything appears to be working again, I'm going to try in a heavily modded install next, I'll let you know how it goes. One thing that may help other people having the same problem (I don't know if this was THE issue...but) -- Turns out I had an old copy of BDArmory on my desktop, which given you noticed it was searching my desktop, may have been connected. I deleted it, unfortunately I didn't think to try 0.10.1 before grabbing the newest version, so I can't say for sure if it was just that, or if recent changes on your end fixed things. Either way, sooooo stoked!!!
  14. Both of those files are in the bdarmory folder in gamedata, the only thing I can think of that might be causing this is maybe something to do with the difference between the file systems in Windows and Linux? Or even Ubuntu specifically? I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, if that helps. I would totally migrate to a newer version of the OS if that ends up as part of or the cause of the problem.. I'll run some parallel searches to see if this sort of thing has happened in any other context. Thanks for your time and effort again!
