Quick question, one of the folders in the dev version (which contains a config file) says that it's depreciated. Is it still necessary? or will it break things?

This seems interesting. If you don't like grinding for science points, just do away with the point system entirely! Is/will this be compatible with other tech trees? (Community, Seti, etc?)

Delta V - Essentially the amount you are able to change your velocity based on the amount of fuel you have, the efficiency of your engines and your overall weight. Prograde - Facing the directing in which you are orbiting (forwards). Retrograde - The opposite direction to prograde. TWR - Thrust to weight ratio. The the power your engines output divided by your weight.

I completely agree. KSP is far and away my favourite game, and 1.0 (and subsequent patches) have made it even more fun than before. The only gripe I have is that suddenly half the mods I love don't work any more, but that would happen no matter what the update did and I'm sure the modders are working on it.

I've never landed Kerbals on another planet. I tend to get distracted by a major game-changing mod halfway through an interplanetary transfer and restart my career. Additionally, it is never I who creates said transfer nodes, but rather MechJeb. I can get them neither sufficiently precise nor sufficiently efficient.

You could try Addon Controller. It initially loads every mod in your GameData folder, but it can change the mods and parts for individual saves from the main menu.

Hello! Well, now I've gone and done it. After several months of owning KSP and lurking the forums as a guest (enough time to download an absurd number of mods and watch tons of people vastly out-perform me in every area), I've gone and made myself an account. From what I've seen, this is one of the better online communities out there, and I hope to learn loads from you guys!
