  1. Ok, this is really starting to bug me. I have reinstalled the game (deleted local content) and reinstalled from steam, but the problem still persists. Also, I am getting this "Debug" window that I cannot close, and don't really know what its for. Mods have been updated, my game is now 1.2.1. Tell me which files I need to post to get to the bottom of this.

    I got close and had a good look at the times when there's a kerbol eclipse, and during a blue moon. I think I saw smurfs down there. Not 100% sure. Will need to be able to zoom harder. Will update with details.

    Guys, I found a bug in the game. I was trying to land on Kerbol, and every time I get close to land my rocket keeps exploding. I know its supposed to be the sun, and its hot and all, which I totally forgot the first few times I tried. But then I waited until its night time so that it's cooler, but its still as bright as ever. I tried this for a couple of nights in a row and my craft still keeps exploding for no reason at all. Now I'm going to try one more time tomorrow night. If it doesn't work I'm going to scream at someone.

I've actually played from beta, but I stopped playing about 1.1 for a year or two, and just came back and totally forgot all the little details I do remember the mobile lab being used primarily for resetting experiments (which was a pretty huge thing back then. For me at least). I remember the transmission boosting part, but I always bring my experiments back anyway, so wasn't a biggie.

  10. Tried to find out, but couldn't get any info about it for 1.13 or 1.2. Do scientist levels boost science recovery from returning craft, or is the levels useful only in the science lab?
  11. Seems like I'm the only one with the issue. Will reinstall and see if that fixes it :S
  12. Am I the only one with this issue where once the game loads it goes straight into a new game? (as in Day 1, 0h, 0m). Playing with a few mods (mechjeb, kerbal alarm, for science, (outdated) chatterer). Issue only cropped up with 1.2
  13. Great. That settles it, Kerbin's gonna be so filled with relay satellites no Kerbal could take a sh.... I mean science experiment, without being seen!
  14. Might be jumping ahead since this is 1.2-related stuff, but how much power does it actually consume to act as a relay just for control purposes? It seems like even the lowest powered satellites would consume A LOT of power (to the tune of 50+/sec). Is this just the figure for transmitting science data or must we keep it powered for it to act as a relay?
