Are you following the instruction manual carefully? Hover the mouse over the part (wing or elevator) after placing it and press "j" to open the menu for adjustments. Also, more detailed info about your installation is always useful. Not just "Windows", but "Windows 32bit 1.04" and the version number of FAR Good luck! -
I believe I had the same issue. I came up with two workarounds. 1. delete the ATM cache every time you load the game. This sucks because load times get ridiculous 2. uninstall ATM. This resulted in a negligible increase in RAM usage for me. ATM is almost completely deprecated now thanks to the switch to DDS textures

[1.12] Extraplanetary Launchpads v6.99.3

Thanks for the answer, taniwha. I think I'll just settle for having fewer kerbals in my workshop, though -
[1.12] Extraplanetary Launchpads v6.99.3

I was wondering what the best method is for increasing the time it takes to build craft using progressive build. Right now I have a dock in orbit with four decent engineers and it can finish a small satellite in about a minute, which just doesn't feel right to me. I checked all the cfgs I could find, but there is no universal setting for efficiency or anything like that. Does that mean I'll have to manually adjust the efficiency of each workshop part? Or is there a more elegant solution? Also, I want to emphasize that I love this mod and really appreciate all the hard everyone puts into it. -
[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18

First of all, thank you Ferram and everyone else for your amazing work on this plugin. FAR takes KSP from a fun little game to the highest plateaus of time-suck However, I've been getting bugged by a little bug (haha) that I haven't seen reported anywhere in this thread. Occasionally, when tweaking a spaceplane design involving the Mk2 cargobay I will find that the center of lift will become unbalanced to the left or right. This causes the plane to go into a constant roll on launch. It only seems to come up when optimizing the Mach 1 Wave drag-area below approximately 2.5. I have tested this on a clean install with only FAR installed (dev version 3a0b0b5987) and I've built an example craft that displays this behavior. This plane will roll constantly to the right on launch, until you raise the gear. Then it flies perfectly level. However, on my main install I have been able to build craft that do this with gear up or down. Here is a link to the craft file and my output log. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B90Kqpp-VQCqfm11TWo1U3Zoc3QtMVB0M2FGbHdrdmU5VWF4QjNSTUszVlh2RzNlRVl6Tmc&usp=sharing Thank you again for doing such great work.- 14,073 replies
