  1. I've had success with doing crazy flybys and grandtours with KSP TOT in stock, but I'm having trouble porting it over to RSS, although in the description says there compatible. Specifically, even when using the orbital values given by this the orbit is widely different from that need to insert into the transfer burn. I haven't actually done a mission to another planet in RSS but I assumed you waited for your transfer window and did your burn from the ecliptic. Is that right? Putting in 180 for the LAN (which I just guessed) seems to work better, but other tests worked better with other values, so I don't think TOT just uses a different value for the LAN of the ecliptic. Here are some pictures to help clarify, sorry if I'm being a little confusing. Im using KSP 1.1.3.
  2. I've been playing RP-0 for a while now, but with the 1.1.2 update I've been experiencing consistent crashes immediately reaching orbit. I've tried 4 times total, the first two crashed once I switched from a suborbital trajectory to an orbit, the third crashed when I tried to run an action group that ran some science modules after attaining orbit (which seemed to not crash if i was in the orbital view when my perigee and apogee reached 140,000m), and the last crashed as I was exiting time warp circling the globe for biome-specific science. The first two and the last generated error logs, but the third did not (it opened a window saying Visual Basic had caused a bug, if I remember correctly). Any idea what could be causing this? It is impossible to play with the game crashing in orbit. Error Log for Crash #1 Error log for Crash #2 Error log for Crash #4
  3. I've been doing a play through for a couple weeks now and I'm loving it, but my major issue is that many parts do not have testflight configs (I'm obviously using testflight). Engines, the bare minimum of required configs, are only partially included. I'd say it looks like 70% percent of engines are properly configured. And that's it. No fuel leaks, stuck open reaction jets, explosions, failed stage separations, nothing. In fact, in all my flights so far, about 20 or so, I haven't had a single rocket fail whatsoever, and most rockets do not even appear on the testflight MSD. Are there any community configs for rp-0, or can anyone direct me to somewhere that tells me how to make my own?
  4. I'm trying the 1.0.5 test build and it seems to work fine except the only probe I start out with is the Guidance Unit (Starting), 1m, which obviously is 1m in diameter(or radius??). This presents a slight problem when the only engine is the 0.3m Aerobee. Also, the core allows control of a rocket up to 20 tons, which seems too OP for the first rocket and anachronistic for what is supposed to be late 40s -early 50s. In total, all I have in the pods tab is the Bonanza Cabin, Heinkel He-111 Cockpit, Junkers Ju-87 Cockpit, and the 1m Probe Core. Where is the 0.3m Sounding Rocket Core from 1.0.4? Am I missing something?
