Don't know what they are, why they're there (probably not harmful). Been having this problem for months, nothing fixing it and this finally did! Hope this fixes it for someone else! This advice finally fixed my problem !
  2. I recently built a new computer and now I have no sound on my new installed KSP build on Steam. I first thought this was a audio driver issue since I had some other audio issues before but there are some things that make me think that Steam doesnt install KSP correctly on my new computer. 1. All my other modded KSP builds from my old computer have working audio. Only on my new clean install of KSP on Steam or copies of this install is the sound not functioning. 2. Steam always finds 1 or 2 missing files when I use "Verify Integrity of Game Cache" after I have started KSP via Steam and closed it again. Someone know how to fix that sound issue or whether I can get a clean copy of KSP somewhere else so I can test if this is really a fault of Steam ? I use Windows 10 64 bit. EDIT: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hniw4lg014oin14/output_log.txt?dl=0 Just looked into the Output lock and it seems that the problem has something to do with "FMOD failed to initialize the output device, attempting to initialize the null output." Also I tested the speakers of my monitor and they work just fine. EDIT 2: KSP Version 1.1.3 seems to work fine so this issue is only on newer version like 1.3.1 and 1.6 which I tested before.
  3. No. I dont want Duna as my starting planet. I simply want another KSC up there as decoration. I will look at the other mod that is mentioned above.
  4. How can I edit my save file so that I can copy the Spacecenter on to Duna as sort of an easter egg ? I want a ruined alien Duna base to visit like in one of Matt Lowne's KSP videos.
  5. Ok I fixed. Apparently it was a problem with the ModuleManager, because I downloaded a new one and deleted the old files. Regardless thanks for the help
  6. I have the same problem that guitarxe has. I installed Science full reward and exchanged the previous text in the file with your text. However I still dont get the 100% science when I transmit my temperature scan.
  7. I used Flyby finder now, so I know that there is a trajectory that could bring me to Mars and back without any additional burns, but it is still annoying that I cant see the markers ingame, so I have to completely trust this numbers until I actually fly.
  8. Then I was right about my assumption, but is there a way now to plan the manouver that brings me back to Earth SOI ?
  9. Hello guys I have a problem with setting a target for my manouver nodes and couldnt find any solution. I try to plan a Mars fly-by in RSS that will return to earth. I use a dummy satellite in low earth orbit to make my multiple manouvers and I could already plan my trajectory with multiple nodes to reach Mars. However I cant target the Earth when I plan my burn that should get me back into Earth's SOI, so I cant see the close approach markers. When I target it then Earth's trajectory is for a brief moment green, which indicates that it is the targeted celestial body, but then it switchs back to no target. I assume the problem is that my satellite is already in Earth orbit, so the game dont let me choose it as a target.
  10. I currently use Realism Overhaul and installed KIS to transport my science equipment to the moon. However the volume of the ALSEP equipment from FASA is beyond the volume limit of the containers. Even in the biggest container there is just enough space for one ALSEP experiment. So I tried to change the volume limit in the KIS files, but there are some problems. I looked in the KIS folder for the same part, but in the partfile it says maxvolume = 1000 ,while in the game it is 425. Regardless I changed the value, but there was no difference ingame.   13. I use KSP 1.0.5 and RO v10.9.6. I used two identical unmanned crafts. Which other data are neccessary to find out the problem ? Do you need any game data ?
  14. In Realism Overhaul I cant dock any spacecraft using the dockingport (propellant only). Both spacecraft just bump into each other. Through testing I found out that I can only dock two spacecraft, when they were pre-docked, disconnected them and docked again.
