I feel with a lot of challenges part of the skill is in the piloting. So I mean... Its not too unfair IMO. But I don't run the challenge. Also... hmmm might be a fun challenge if someone finds a nice slope somewhere....

small complaint - for some reason one of my browser hotkeys (ALT-Left/Arrow) just stopped working for no apparent reason. Its really more of an inconvenience but its an annoying one. Looking for a fix, but nothing obvious is coming up (maybe someone has ideas idk). curse you tech gods.

Winter break is ending and I am flying back out of NJ to the Netherlands to continue studying tomorrow. I am not particularly enthusiastic about leaving actual home for another 6 months, especially after a bit of winter break. It is what it is though I suppose....

Gonna break the mold and say helicopters. Find those really fun. I have I think messed around more with planes, but if I have to actually do something and go somewhere, rocket time. But thats relatively rare. And I do also like making reusable stuff, which lends itself more to planes and things with wings.

i haven't played seriously in months. As to other sins, I have no issue with expending kerbals occasionally in the name of science, or abandoning them a little carelessly. Apart from a few, they deserve special treatment.

otoh that looks like a very nice build you've got going on. Whats the large numpad-ish thing? Cause it looks like too many keys for a standard numpad....

Tell me about it.... So is living on your own semi suddenly. So many just menial things to do that you never thought of, so many other little things to think about.

If you're a student you could probably get AutoCAD on a student license for free for 3 years. Pretty fully featured cad program.

Ooooh this sounds cool. Just static test firing or more like test flights? Also interested to hear how they go.
