  1. Well it was indeed quite the event when the Mun broke up in several tiles and broke reality. I didn't which of the many tiles were landable until I crashed into the tileless section. It brings a whole new level to the game!
  2. I personally use Stock Visual Enhancement but I advise you to just search a bit for something that best suit your needs (and ease of installation of the mods). There are mods which just add clouds but also mods that add visual weather like lightning and planetary storms. I chose SVE because it caused me the least problems but that was a while ago. Since I am waiting on just a few mods to make the jump to 1.3 I might be trying to install a few more in-depth visual mods. They are mostly hard to install because of the preferences you would like yourself. While some of the mods seem very complicated to install they mostly just need to get in the .../Kerbal Space Program/GameData/[Mod name] hierarchy just like Scatterer and everything should work well (hopefully).
  3. In the scatterer zip file is a map called GameData. Just copy it in your Kerbal Space Program folder. When installed correctly this order of folders must exist: .../steam/steamapps/common/Kerbal Space Program/GameData/scatterer.
  4. Like any other mod actually; got to where you have installed your game (Steam default .../steam/steamapps/common/Kerbal Space Program), open the archived file of the mod which in this case is Scatterer and drop the scatterer map in you GameData folder. Presto! You got some wicked graphics overhaul! One word of warning though: This version of Scatterer isn't yet compatible with the recent version of KSP. Wait until this mod is updated.
  5. @DMagic Thanks for your answer. I am kinda glad that I didn't screw it up myself Keep on going with your work and I will await patiently.
  6. Yes, they point at each other and with the yellow lights blinking. When I fly with one of the probes and target the asteroid the dish points to the other one.
  7. I updated all the mods that I have but still nothing else than the message 'Receiver in range'. Am I just simply missing something here?
  8. Allready!? It feels like yesterday when I last checked for the newest versions of mods. I am very sorry for filling up useless space. My bad.
  9. Hi there! Awesome mod this is but I got a little problem with the asteroid sounding experiment which I didn't find anywhere in this topic: Whatever I do the two scanners do find each other but no experiment can be taken from it when grabbed and targeted or untargeted. I tried to hang one of the probes near the opposite side of the asteroid and also tried targeted and untargeted. They both got power. I tried to use it with an EVA and the results are the same. Log file: <script src="https://gist.github.com/anonymous/ac5550724354fb32328265e433ccf6f4.js"></script> All the other experiments do work and classify it as an asteroid.
  10. Have you tried using SCANsat for it? Like making it a mission to get a clear view of the planet beneath the clouds.
  11. Hmm, I tried to log the events from the lights being created on the Mun but now the disappeared! I noticed the base game was updated so maybe there was something not ok in KSP 1.1 itself. Anyhow, may it happen again I know now how to upload a logfile with it. Edit: After reloading, which happened 2 minutes after this message, the lights on Mun were back. I haven't been to other planets yet to find out if it happened there Log file: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/f14a5559d7e5ca555597ec31c257305f
  12. Well, indeed maybe my screen is a little too bright and will definetly try to get another skybox. For the eclipse: I also got EVE installed so maybe it has something to do with that. Will investigate further. And the sunset looks astonishing! Thank you for your help
  13. This mod is certainly filling in the eye-candy needs. It also decided to colonize the mun! I'd take it that it wasn't the idea! It is only visible in-game and not from the map. Latest versions of EVE 1.1 pre-release (checked on 15-4, 21:37 GMT +1) (I do not post many things on forums and was very happy when I found out how to add an image. I didn't find out how to upload my log file so I am terribly sorry for that but if I find out how I will.)
  14. This is a very enlighting mod which certainly makes the game more visually appeasing. However I noticed two things: 1. I don't think shadows project through the planet when an eclipse occurs. 2. It is probably some nitpicking but in the vast blackness of space (and maybe because of some poor contrast in my monitor) lighter bars are visible from the otherwise spectacular lens flare.
  15. Edit: I said that for the people who looks over the obvious (which I do sometimes) you can turn off the ocean shaders for now in the main menu when the shoreline fighting makes you crazy. I forgot to warn those that the scattering over the waters looks not as nice as with ocean shaders and over land. Still... it looks calmer. But off course we all hope it'll be fixed soon!
