I just landed on the moon for the first proper time today! Used some cheats though on very descent onto the Mun as I had no fuel left. I landed, then got rid of the infinite fuel. Now I have some redesigning and rescuing to do! I came at the Mun at a horrible angle so I never actually orbited the Mun, just landed on its side instead of being smacked and crash right into it because of its orbit. My first time

Thanks a lot guys, I realise what I have done wrong. I did think "what" when in the EVE it said something about BoulderCo which didn't come with the EVE itself. Update: I installed the boulderco and it now works! Clouds and everything. Thanks a lot guys, this really got me stuck.

Help! I've been trying to install E.V.E, I put the game data inside the game data and EVE is there, yet when I load up KSP there is no textures, clouds, or anything. Just stock KSP. This is from a reinstalled KSP which is clean, I did once have lots of mods but they are all gone when I reinstalled (deliberately) Here is a screen of my GameData folder, it seems as if the game only loads Squad and leaves the EVE alone so I get stock ksp even with lots of mods:

Yes, there are some workarounds and the debug menu in Career, but that doesn't really solve the problem completely. I will try the career debug and use that until Squad cops on. Its really a hindrance and unnecessary to block out Science (researching planets etc) in Sandbox.

Sadly, when you fly to some distant planet in Sandbox mode (eeloo) and decide to collect some science. Materials, temperature. Why should we not know these things? Okay, so you open up the science JR.. uh oh. It either tells you nothing or say to you that the Research and Development is closed so you can't understand anything. Its the same on Kerbin, want to see the temperature? Nope, can't do that. Barometer? Nope. Some may say its because your in Sandbox and it shouldn't matter because you've unlocked everything, but it does matter. Its all about the roleplaying. I want to fly to Duna, and be able to tell its temperature during noon, dusk and dawn. However, I can't do this. The display seems to be telling nonsense at the same time. Its frustrating that basic instruments aren't able to be used in Sandbox. Science should be able to be collected in Sandbox.
