  1. Maybe they could calculate a drag tensor for the whole ship as a rigid body when it leaves the physics bubble, although that doesn't help us determine when aero forces become too large and should cause RUD. Maybe there could be some way to estimate a max drag number somehow, which just deletes the vessel if exceeded. It's not a perfect solution, but still.
  2. I think, to a certain degree, this is intentional. It might be a bit extreme at the moment, but real rockets have to be built and flown carefully so they don't fold in half too. Tall skinny rockets are supposed to be more unstable. The unrealistic part is how flexible they are, in real life they would just snap and explode long before going banana shaped. I guess that was ruled out for being too unforgiving, but it would be way too easy to build rockets that don't look like rockets if they were processed as one rigid body. I'm sure they will find the right balance between rigid and noodle sooner or later.
  3. Point one is reasonable and should probably be fixed at some point. Points two and three have 0% chance they will ever be fixed. This is just the way people speak, whether it's objectively correct or not. Plus, I doubt they have the voice actor on call to amend the recordings.
  4. I found it very difficult to parse the icons in map view. Aside from the bugs with overlapping UI elements and being unable to pin them, there's some really bad aliasing on these icons. They are clearly made to look monochrome, low-res and retro, which would be neat if it didn't interact with scaling and nearest-texel filtering in the worst way. The only way I figured out what this image was supposed to be was by zooming way in.
  5. Back in late May, I wanted two things: To try my hand at programming something actually useful. Something like ABCORS, but for velocity instead of altitude. It was a really small tweak. Still took a while though, me being the novice I am. But it worked well enough so I sent a pull request to zentarul who promised to take a look at it. Until then, you can download it from here: https://github.com/audiorate/abcors/blob/master/release build/ABCORS.dll?raw=true
