  1. I have contracts for low flight over north pole, wondering if anyone on console has landed or flown over the north pole at low level flight (m <7000(it's actually under 16km, but I'm staying lower to land))?
  2. Ok so interesting, played destiny, played battleborn, r2 worked, came here didn't work, switched up the controls ( used up down d pad) took a sec I menu but good. I was so happy. But realise it was but a moment, I can't keep it like this. Thanks, it was a solution, but not permanent.
  3. I get that they needed to add it in game but changing the scheme on there would include other games as well, I mean I guess if this is all you play then go for it, I'm tempted to try it out for l2/r2 and see how it goes, but I have to be careful because of shooters (just want to change those because it seems I'm the only one with that r2 problem in eva...seriously wondering what it is)
  4. And a nope. Still no r2, time to play something else
  5. I wonder if you deleted the actual save file outside the game, I haven't had save file corruption since I did this, but it also seems I'm not as far long as you guys. Also, since my r2 during eva isn't working I'm re downloading it so I'll be even further back now lol...just hope this works. I'll laugh my ass off if it causes more crashes and corrupt files after that, as long as that eva works, oh lordy lordy.
  6. Here's my plan if it is working for others I'm going to delete the game and reinstall/download and test it then, if it works I'll chalk it up to missing packets during download
  7. Yep, and r2 works in shooters, guess how yall have the game crashing I'm stuck with no r2. Even threw in a video for them, you on ps4 or x1.
  8. Don't know if you tried it, but go ahead, delete the save, turn off the machine...off not rest, turn on, restart game...again...play for max 2 hours, saving through out, auto save counts, hop out of game, chill for a min...yell at screen, hop back in. If you stream, well good luck, I had it freeze in the middle of something, think I had finally gotten my plane to fly...either way we laughed at the timing. And you could put it in the bug tracker, they're going to need to know.
  9. And yet again you have got me back to cringing, swear to god if I lose this save my next 40 dollars will be spent on a drug and std infested hooker so at least getting completely screwed ends in satisfaction. Side note: wonder how liquided my wife would be to see this post...it's gonna happen, love that excrements One more thing been seeing alot of yall just put the ps4 into rest mode, even in game...cool cool, ummm let it completely sleep to here and there (aka turn it off ). I'm just saying I haven't had problems, other than normal crashes, and those happen mainly when I stream. I really think any added stress makes this game even more unstable. Or I'm just lucky, playing with a loaded gun, pointed directly at my nuts. Really? liquided is sensored, this is a sad world we live in....urinate
  10. You can constantly see people upset about this, it is on their tracker at multiple levels. My suggestion is to back up your save everytime you exit the game, trying doing it at max every two hours (haven't had many crashes before that time frame). USB or Upload storage. Everyone knows it's there and is frustrating, but please, would you rather lose the entire career mission or whatever, or take a couple of mins ensuring your save...at least until it's fixed. It looks like the save file is only around 10.49 mb so I think a 1 gb USB data stick thing cost only a dollar now a days.
  11. Definitely keep the ps4 upload up to date, anytime you exit it, and are satisfied save it there...it may be a hassle but until they can fix it which would you rather have, to start over or just have the most recent save.
  12. This would, in my opinion negate anything you have learned or gotten used to in ksp console version, if you do change one button you have to assume you have change around atleast 3 controls in the game, even then the game is still going to show their mapping for it. Personally going to wait for them to allow button editing or something along those lines. Also, doesn't that mean it would still have the change for other games as well? Seems to much a hassle compared to just learning to adjust.
  13. So that game crash bug, along with the corrupt save (happened once for me, I know lucky), has freaked me out so much I save to the online storage now. Also I only complete a couple of contracts, hop out of the game and upload it. It still crashes from time to time, but at least that save is there (don't get me wrong I cringe everytime).
  14. Yep to all of these, it needs to be put in the bug tracker, if you haven't already. I've been orienting myself using the compass, switching to the map, getting a rough guess of the angle I need to go on the nav ball and let it fly for a bit. And they also need to check if there is a memory leak when you do click on one of the nodes, yes it seems like it's supposed allow you to activate the target location, but as stated it slows to a crawl (as it does several times, when moving the mouse around while in orbit/flying and switching between my fuels to contracts to another location), I do wonder what will happen when we get into more sophisticated builds with lots of moving parts.
  15. Heatshield...and a decouple I'm hoping. If you're just wanting off the ground with the small booster, and not 100% risk it, why not also lower the fuel amount too. Have enough to stay low, angle yourself a little so it's not just straight up and down, decouple when out of fuel, angle to retrograde and just keep the butt down. I haven't had an issue with re entry that much yet...just when orbit out of fuel and using the atmo to slowly reduce my ap and pe...then it's just a hope kind of thing.
