  1. Mission to Minmus with new lander completed, launched and returned to base.
  2. Didn't even know pitch trim existed! I'll see if I can turn it off.
  3. I am landed and stable on minmus, I either send my pilot on EVA, or just turn off SAS and my lander starts spinning and bouncing off toward the horizon. Video here: https://twitter.com/GalbinusCaeli/status/1025975403951742976
  4. I liked seeing THIS phrase in The Daily Kerbal
  5. Still waiting on this. Tried to play this week. Started a new campaign. data corruption after THREE launches. I want to play this game. But even with multiple backups on USB I still keep losing ground. Unplayable. Sad.
  6. As I mention in this thread, I have data and steps to reproduce this issue:
  7. I think I have a poison, and contagious, Jeb. If I try to land him, or any ship he has controlled, the data goes corrupt. (Or currupted, as the message so gleefully puts it.) I have a saved game on USB, easy reproduction. Seriously, squad, I am happy to share reproduction steps and code with you. BTW, I am a Software Testing specialist. (Test Engineer at a major silicon valley firm.) I break stuff in a repeatable fashion for a living. I'm happy to give you this one for free. (And no, I'm not looking for a job, I already have one.) If you prefer to contact me outside of this forum, you have access to my account information, my real name and email address are there. Feel free to google me, I'm most of the results on the first page. (Not the pro cyclist)
  8. Any updates on this? If needed I think I have quick reproduction case if Squad needs it. I have a save file set that if loaded to my PS4 and then a specific ship is landed from orbit, the data seems to become corrupt every time. (well, I had it happen twice in a row. Restore, land, corrupt.)
  9. Ah. Much better. Decoupler at the top. Strut at the bottom. Separates perfectly.
  10. Thanks for the answers. I didn't know the trick about moving the cursor over the exact part to be connected to. When I have the part selected, I just move it around until it snaps onto the core rocket in an orientation that seems right. Then try to rotate and offset after the fact. (Well I try to avoid rotate since the slightest touch to the shoulder buttons seems to cause at least a 200 degree rotation.) Thanks I will try adjusting later today.
  11. I am having real trouble with radial decouplers. No matter how careful I am, they just won't pop the boosters off the ship. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong? <iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/video.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fskip.huffman.14%2Fvideos%2F1412492675433398%2F&show_text=0&width=560" width="560" height="315" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" allowTransparency="true" allowFullScreen="true"></iframe> Facebook link terrible. Trying twitter:
  12. Thanks. Fixing the game properly is of course preferable, but this would reduce our pain out here.
  13. I have now had three games become corrupt on me. This is truly a terrible user experience. It needs to be patched. Until it can be properly fixed, May I suggest you make a small patch to keep an A and B save? When the game starts, copy the current save, if not corrupt, to a "B" location, and if corrupt, restore from the last time the game was started. That way we only lose ONE session of game play, rather than an entire career. This should be a relatively small change. You can already identify corrupt files, and I am sure the PS4 and Xbox have a simple method to store a file. And while it doesn't solve the corruption issue, it would reduce the pain. Thank you. 14. Happening for me on the PS4. Had me stuck for a while trying to figure out what the heck had happened. I was about to give up on EVA for a while before stumbling on this post.
