  1. And how do I get an Output_Log file? Is it created every time I run the game? Is it a crash file?
  2. Ok thanks. I searched through the game log, and I found something called 'ModuleManager'. What is it? I have NO mods installed, is it something that KSP uses to install mods?
  3. I suffer from loading screen freeze, every button being unclickable, the game just outright destroying itself, losing every part, craft, flag, even Kerbals, and even losing Minmus at one point. It's SO ANNOYING.
  4. I'm starting a new question (this isn't really a question but in fact a topic, but it's related to this but you can only ask questions here), and it is about the WORST bugs and glitches. Post your worst bugs and glitches here, and also, if possible and if you know how, a solution to the problem. I have had so many that it's not even funny. I'll provide a little background about the bugs and glitches I experience, and why they are SO ANNOYING for me.I work two jobs, and when I get home at 5pm (Australian time), I usually have until 9pm until I need to get ready for a 10pm night shift until 1 am. Anyway, getting off topic. So I have like four hours and I devote that time to playing KSP. For some reason, when I load the game, it will freeze, and I'll have to restart it. That happens around 3, 4 or even 5 times before a successful load, and that's not all. I am writing this in frustration, as the game froze twice, but then loaded on the third time (third time lucky?), and when I loaded my science mode save file, everything went fine, and I saw that I had some science points left, so I spent them. Also, when I'm in the science tech tree, when I click on a node and press 'Research', the science will be spent, but the node will still be grey, like if I haven't unlocked it yet or something. I found out that if I just exit the science tech tree and go back in, it will be green and I'll own the parts. But that's not the major problem. When I clicked 'Close', to go back to the KSC and build a craft with the new parts, as you usually would, it didn't close. The top menu stayed on the science tech tree, but 3/4 of the way down at my screen, it had the KSC menu where you can timewarp to the next morning or whatever. I suffered through the loading screen freezing twice before I got back in, and this time I steered clear of the RnD building, thinking that it must be a rare bug or glitch with the science tech tree. So when I clicked on the VAB, the same thing happened. I clicked on it, but it wouldn't load. It was then unclickable. I tried the SPH, and it happened again. Trying every single building, but no, once I clicked on a building, it was unclickable again. I then pressed the pause button and tried clicking on 'Exit To Main Menu'. And, when I clicked it, it didn't exit. It was ALSO UNCLICKABLE. I tried every button in the pause menu, and they were unclickable once I clicked them even once. I am VERY frustrated, and I am trying to see if I could fix this by just reloading the game. But, it has now froze twice, and I don't know what to do. I work for eight hours in an office job, and KSP is the only thing that pulls me through, just thinking 'at least after 3 more hours of Excel spreadsheets I can go home and attempt a rover landing on Eeloo, or work on my asteroid base or whatever' keeps me from going insane at my boring workplace. Sorry for this LENGTHY forum post, but yeah, I'm VERY frustrated and I want to just uninstall the game, again.(I had to uninstall it the first time because of a modulemanager glitch where it reloads the database, and it deleted every flag, part, save file, sound, resource, and basically every single item in the Kerbal Space Program folder except for the patcher and actual game). Why does this happen?! Why?!
  5. Okay. I've already got FAR in my game, and I'm gonna test out this mod as soon as I get home.
  6. Yeah. It'll be easier for me to fly crafts now because I play War Thunder, which uses a mouse aim flight model, and I'm really good at that game. Can't wait to do aerobatics in my Aeris 3-A tripped out with rocket engines and SRBS.
  7. Since it is the time of Easter, although it has just passed, I'm proposing an Easter egg hunt. It's where you find the various Easter Eggs hidden around the Kerbol system, on moons or planets, or even on parts of a rocket or spaceplane. It's basically where you try to find more easter eggs than another user, and take a screenshot of each easter egg you find. Happy hunting my fellow rocketeers!
  8. That's why I am permitting the use of Rovers, as long as they are piloted by a Kerbal. Many players haven't really explored Kerbin apart from the area around the KSC, so this is a good opportunity to also collect science.
  9. I would like to challenge everyone out there to build at least a command module (so you get a Kerbal in it, obviously), get the Kerbal out on EVA, and walk/run all the way around Kerbin. I tried doing this, and I got from the KSC all the way to Kerbin's north pole. Also, as Kerbin is so 'big' (it's really 10 times smaller than Earth I think), rovers are accepted, but they must have a Kerbal piloting them (E.g. using an external command seat or cockpit).

  11. I'm not sure if this really counts as a 'space station', but it is technically in space. I've built an asteroid base. It orbits around Minmus. and I've got a 'tower' consisting of a cupola module and the MPL-LG-2'. From that 'tower' I've got four 'bridges' with Clamp-O-Tron Juniors sticking out, so I can put another module on another asteroid, try to steer the asteroid close to the other module, and the 'bridges' on both of them should connect so I can link the asteroids together. I'm also working on a little tube design thing using the structural panels that extend all the way to Minmus so I can transport Kerbals through it, but haven't worked out how yet without running out of EVA fuel. But hey, 'at least it went better than last time!'

Every time I've tried to build a Mk3 spaceplane in the SPH, (shuttle, airliner using the Mk3 crew cabins, cargo plane or even a sea plane), they either NEVER take off, fail on the runway, steer in a random direction, or even take off really quickly but then just flip around. Is it possible to actually design a Mk3 craft and take off with it and not need a rocket? Because I get a bit frustrated when they NEVER work. So is their a way to actually build and take off using Mk3 parts on the runway? Or do I just suck at aircraft design.
  13. Mine gets stuck on ModuleManager:FINAL or ModuleManager:LEGACY and when I go to the Debug Menu and 'Debug', I get 'ModuleManager|ModuleManagerERROR|Out Of Memory'. It's either that or a ModuleManager Reload Database thing at the top of my screen. I clicked it, and it removed every part from the game and everything, and I lost all my saves, .craft files, and everything. Even had to pay for KSP AGAIN just to be able to play it.
  14. Yeah I have a very similar problem. I installed KAS and KIS, and when I went to choose a container, it came up with Sounds/KIS/Container/ContainerB/Open as (it said 'as' obviously it is a spelling mistake and should be 'has' but anyway) not been found, and Sound/KIS/Container/ContainerB/Close as not been found. I went into the GameData folder, and checked the 'Sounds' folder, and all of the KIS and KAS sounds are there. And because of that, when I open a container and I'm not in the VAB or SPH, it will open for a second and then close again. This is really frustrating as I have to now attach the parts to my craft, increasing the mass, instead of putting them in easy to use containers.
