  1. I've been trying to get Lightwave to work with KSP, and finally achieved it with this first attempt at making something for the game. It's no different to the other wings in the game, but it's based on the space shuttle's vertical stabiliser. If you want a pointless wing, you can get it here: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/250010/KSP/my%20parts/stabiliser%20fin%20v1.zip Also, unsurprisingly, this doesn't work so well:
  2. Lightwave 10 is supposed to have a pretty good DAE exporter. For some reason, though, KSP doesn't like the files it makes. When the game loads, I get a purple silhouette of what I presume is my object, and the loading message just keeps flashing. I assume the game has crashed, because it can't progress beyond that point. Even taking a DAE file that comes with the game, and then exporting it back, breaks it. EDIT: Just spotted the SDK download. Trying that results in 'KeyNotFoundException: The given key was not present in the directory' POSSIBLE SOLUTION: Using Ultimate Unwrap 3D's COLLADA exporter seems to do the trick. Stupid Lightwave.
