Honestly, despite being around since 0.15.2 (which doesn't even seem that long ago), I don't care about the free DLC. It is a nice gesture by Squad, but not one that anyone should expect or demand. The initial cost to me (which I don't even remember) has already been long since amortized away while KSP has turned into quite the excellent game.

That thing looks satisfyingly kerbal.

Been fooling around with shuttle concepts lately. I got hit by the bug to get one to work since I have never made one work well before. Tried to do a STS/Buran hybrid and it failed. Just too unstable on ascent, and the kicker was it could not reenter safely. So I went full Buran. Turned out much more stable on ascent and even more powerful. As a bonus I was even able to land back on the runway after its maiden voyage (after slightly overshooting).

Playing my Kerbal Construction Time modded game with some visual mods and I am having a blast after ~3 years away from the game. And lo and behold I saw a beautiful lunar eclipse.

I did a clean install and started a new save, and I must say that the difference is fantastic. My performance is incredible now. KSP now runs silky smooth on my PC Thanks squad!

My laptop is an M14x alienware laptop, so admittedly it is better than some laptops out there, but I do notice considerable slowdowns when looking at Kerbin, although much better than in .15

Very cool, you should get the Modular Missile pack and give it like 50 missiles.

My laptop only really slows down when I have a large number of parts, or when the camera is pointing at Kerbin. However some optimization would be cool, but planets should come first!
