  1. Finally finished re-creating Mir. A nightmare with all the contradictory diagrams and low-res photos. The first one also got wiped out by a Kraken half way in.
  2. Oh. Uh. @politas, you set up the CKAN listing for us originally. What happened? Is there anything I can do? EDIT: @Wuwuk thanks for letting me know. It's a known bug of CKAN. DMagicScienceAnimate is still marked as 1.1.0, so it won't show up in any category of CKAN until all dependencies are compatible.
  3. Click View Raw to download binaries(zip) from GitHub.
  4. Update that *possibly* fixes crashing! Now to download it... Nope. Maybe 1.2, 2.0 or a decade from now I can play.
  5. They take ~30% cut. Just to have a working patcher, I think that 30% deserves to be in Valve's pockets. Not to mention the early access to new versions. Instead of downloading 35.99 MiB between 1.0.0 and 1.0.5 using the (dead) rsync patcher, I have had to download 3.44 GiB on a slow, unreliable connection!!! I dread to think what people with download allowances think of this treatment. 1.0.0: 0 MiB Changed, 0 MiB Compressed 1.0.1: 30.78 MiB Changed, 10.56 MiB Compressed 1.0.2: 3.25 MiB Changed, 1 MiB Compressed 1.0.3: 19.86 MiB Changed, 5.46 MiB Compressed 1.0.4: 4.14 MiB Changed, 1.3 MiB Compressed 1.0.5: 50.01 MiB Changed, 17.67 MiB Compressed Total: 108.04 MiB Changed, 35.99 MiB Compressed Downloading 5 Zips: 3.44 GiB Compressed
  6. Does 1.1 fix the update process for those of us that wanted to give ALL the money to Squad? If so, then I will feel less offended by this Steam only tester build, otherwise it just confirms that Squad does not care about existing store customers who may have unreliable connections (CONSTANTLY dropping the MASSIVE incremental updates about half way through) or data usage limits (500MiB for a x.x.x.1 version bump!!!). The patcher does not even need updating, you just need to bring back your Rsync server!!! To those saying "buy it again on Steam": I will not buy this game again just to get access to a WORKING update system or betas, I really don't think what I paid in the first place was worth it given this treatment. If it is so cheap, why don't you buy it for us?
  7. So for giving Squad all the money, rather than letting Valve have a pretty generous share, we get: A broken, for nearly/over? a year, patcher. Leaving anyone with a limited download allowance or unreliable connection stuffed. No access to pre-release versions. I deeply regret buying direct when you treat your customers like that. Especially since all you need to do to fix that patcher is to fix your Rsync server!
