  1. Ah, yeah, sorry. I meant space shuttle 2. I call it STS2, because it makes sense that they'd call it that. https://spaceflighthistory.blogspot.com/2017/02/nasa-johnson-space-centers-shuttle-ii.html?m=1
  2. Shuttle with Jupiter? Is this in the same timeline as Freedom? Will we see some cross posting between the two? Also, it is a shame that Jupiter didn't get selected. It met all the requirements and even had room for expansion and variants. Honestly, I think I'm more a fan of Ares I and V, but Jupiter family still is high up there. In an ideal world, at least 3 of the 6 shuttle/shuttle derived programs would be flying. STS, STS2, SLS, NLS, Jupiter Direct (JD) and Ares. I know STS was old and outdated, but STS2 could have carried on the legacy. We kind of need a space shuttle. Anyway, sorry for ranting. Great pics as always. Can't wait to see what you do with this series. Are you planning on doing some station building?

  4. I tried to do 2 H3 launches, but Kibo wouldn't fit with the experiment rack on the end.
  5. Ah. Didn't know that. They're still not as bad as the NLS flares though it looks like to me. The Ares V boattail tapers inward, making the flared engine fairings less intrusive imo. Also, IDK why, but that image looks wrong to me... just... skinny Ares V and that Ares I... the short booster with long second stage... does not look right.

  7. Columbus added. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  8. InvaderChao's custom profile. It boosts lighting for the scene. Hence why you can see the station in the dark. You'll have ask @Invaderchaos for the profile tho.
  9. Node 2 added! Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  10. P6, P7, S6 and S7 docked and with that the solar truss is complete. S/P 7 trusses are of course fictional for the purposes of being able to double stack the S/P 6 trusses. And yeah, I know I can delete them S/P 7 trusses in orbit, but I just like the way it looks better. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  11. Just make the cargo section of the AARDVARK reenterable by slapping a heatshield under the probe. I made this real quick, so it's not perfect, but you get the concept. Make sure you have plenty of parachutes and maybe some landing gear... it may crush itself on landing.
  12. S4, S5, P4 and P5 docked. Also, the last image is a bonus from when I relaunched the solar segments because one of them had the docking port in the wrong position. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  13. S2, S3, P2 and P3, docked. Yes, I included the 2s. Just looks better imo. Better transition than just half hexagon to full hexagon, full stop. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  14. S1 and P1 Truss segments docked. No launch pictures because it's the same vehicle. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  15. Some pictures of my latest launch using the 8.4m (5m KSP) Ares V. @EStreetRockets @Invaderchaos I know you said you weren't doing the 8.4m (5m) Ares V, but could we get at least just the engine mount? Or perhaps a 'flat' 5m engine mount without the flares to make it more look like Ares V? Just a suggestion.
  16. S0 docked. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  17. Quest airlock docked. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
  18. That Blk II Tunnel, is that a short variant of the docking tunnel? Or is it just embedded within the lab a little bit?
  19. US Lab docked. Full album: Imgur: The magic of the Internet
