Fair enough, Squad is under no legal obligation to inform us of changes. That being said, its still pretty bad form to just remove it without any prior warning. It would have saved me a few minutes of headache trying to figure out why KSP wouldn't load if someone would have just said 'Oh heads up, we're removing 64 bit so update your Steam settings to accommodate. '

Pretty much this. I don't even like 64 bit (only started using it 2 days ago to try it out) its the fact there was no notice, just went and took it right off my machine.

No, that was just squad stealing your 64 bit.

Not to mention this only applies to steam users. We haven't heard anything from people who bought it through Squad.

They just started experimentals this morning from the look of things.

Where do you get a week or two from? They JUST went into experimentals (which usually takes 2 weeks at least), and we've been told this round would be significantly longer than the previous ones.

I only started using it about 2 days ago, so I'm not really worried about losing 64 bit...I am a little unnerved they did it without any prior warning however.

So...steam update just deleted 64 bit of my computer? ETA: Just noticed another thread changed its topic to this, this thread can be deleted/locked or whatever. ETA2: MEEEEERGE!

Yep, just had the 0kb update here too.

Seems to be others saying that its deleting the 64 bit client.

Speaking of devils and what not. I rest my mouth.

What I find has been the case, is that when you get an update to all versions at about the same time, thats a release candidate. If you then get another scratchpad after that, it means they found a bug they don't want to release with. The only thing thats really certain is when the current version gets archived. Either way, I've still got the feeling we're quite a ways away from release.

This seems to be the case, going into full orbit seems to waste more of both.
