  1. I like to make fighter jets from real life, but I was wondering if anybody knew any mods (besides BDarmory or airplanesplus) that could help with that.
  2. So I'm using several mods in my game including MKS from USI, however I can't seem to be able to transfer enriched uranium between storage with docked vessels or even within the same vessel. I've seen a few posts about using 'maintenance' function to transfer it but I haven't been able to get this to work. I'm probably missing something really simple! Thanks!
  3. the title says it all, im looking for professionals who can build epic space stations to collab with me and other professionals who can take kerbals to every single planet in the kerbolar system, if you want to collab with me you will need, restock, restock+, space station expansion parts redux, and planetary base systems. The space station will take kerbals to everywhere and jebidiah will land on every single one of the kerbolar planets, i know this is quite a bit of a challenge as i can just do it myself with a ion powered craft but i want to explore the kerbolar system in style, think about this, would you rather go to laythe in a boring old cramped spacecraft or would you go in a gigantic mothership that has alot of space, and plenty of things to do for the kerbals, you can use visual mods like scatterer if you like but thats pretty much it, im hoping we can get into a group chat and once its done we could stream it live on twitch, invite your friends to come see, and it will be split into 4 parts and the final craft cant be more than 1200 parts if its more than 1200 parts then im gona ask someone else (with a better pc) to fly the craft anyways i hope we can get into a group chat and build the station of our dreams.
  4. Upon loading a new save/world I encounter a black screen. It's not frozen, I can still move around my cursor and the thingy spinning around in the bottom right corner still spins. I've tried waiting 20 min once and it didn't change. Also when KSP has loaded, into the main menu, it gives me a error of kopernicus which is my only clue. Could this error message have something to do with this? I am playing with mods, in version 1.7.3 After Kerbin/Beyond Kerbin. I want to include my KSP log but I could not find it so please help me find this aswell so I can include it. I found something called "output_log.txt" in "AppData/LocalLow/KSP" or whatever. I think I should also say that I am using CKAN. I've tried finding a solution for this, for a while now, nothing has worked. Some things I've tried: Changing the desktop size and position to see if it was some problem with KSP not finding my monitor, I tried removing Module Manager Cache. It's really getting to me that everytime I try something new it doesn't work. At all. Crashes, errors, Black Screens, Infinite Loading, etc...   7. I have looked everywhere and all the videos are like from 5 years ago. I know that you need a 3 modeling engine which is blender (for me) and unity. Can maybe an experienced Modder or anyone please tell me how to get started?

  9. I've been playing KSP for a few months and had a great time with it - only using career mode so far. Having watched a bunch of videos on youtube, I had noticed many of them seemed to not be launching from Kerbin. So after some investigation, I found out about the RealSolarSystem mod and some further investigation - a beginner guide to modding KSP (that has sadly been left to rot and is now no good for specific mods)... long story short... I installed the latest versions I could find of - Kopernicus (1.9.1) Module Manager (4.1.3) Real Solar System (16.4) And the 4k RSS_Texture pack (no version number but updated 4 days ago) After some initial issues with the location of the textures, I finally got a clean load with these mods installed and no errors... noting the textured being loaded during the startup sequence I was excited to start a new career mode in our Solar System. To my dismay... after starting a new save, i was still on Kerbin. I would really appreciate some help with this as I am usually a purest and have never modded any game before this so there may be something simple I have missed. I checked for other threads on this but only found out dated ones that didn't address this particular issue. Thanks
  10. Is there a mod that allows players to manufacture new parts on a base outside of Kerbin? The best way to do this would be to convert ores into metals using factories, and then having factories convert these metals into parts. Along with KAS and KIS, this would be really useful. Any ideas of plugins I can use?

KSP desperately needs larger (1.875 and 2.5 meter) jets, to bring down part and engine-count for players who build really large spaceplanes (since they take so long to get to orbit, the only way to do them, IMHO). I would like to request a modder build a simple mod with stock-alike 1.875 and 2.5 meter jet engines. The objective, eventually, would be to hopefully get SQUAD to work with that modder to make the engines Stock. So focusing on doing a really, really good job with just a few parts would be preferable.
  12. I'm creating a mod that requires a gui or some type of hud menu. Kinda like the gui of extraplanetary launchpads, or any other mod. I have found a gui tutorial on the ksp wiki Here That tells little to absolutely nothing in terms of anything. Could someone please tell me something, or update the wiki page to say something. That would be amazing.
  13. Hi all, I recently installed SVE and EVE, but had issues with city lights showing up where they shouldn't, including on the Mun. So I tried removing all mods by deleting everything except the Squad folder from the GameData folder, but the issue is still there. There is a constant black spot with city lights below my spacecraft, along with strange terrain glitches when I land. I tried deleting all files and then re-installing KSP from Steam, but that didn't work either. Some other things I've tried: -Restarting computer -Creating a new save -Checking the log files for anything related to EVE. I didn't see anything.   14. Hey guys, I'm looking to find mods that make ksp look good but i want mods that blend in with each other. I've tried realism overhaul with eve, scatter, and etc. which made the game look good but it wasn't to my liking. If you know any "mod packs" that make the game look stellar, i would like to know. Thx.
  15. First off... I am not a modder, my current abilities toward coding are small and though I would like to learn I am far from competent enough to make and support mods for a community. But I was wondering if there has been any discussion for standardization of things we know will be brought into the game. I'm guessing laying the groundwork could be important before hand to some extent even though starting implementation is impossible before the game is released. Basically I'm referring to a problem like where we have some mods that support "LH2" and others that support "Liquid Hydrogen" and that sort of lack of standardization. H20 vs water Food vs snacks Deuterium vs D vs 2H (are super/sub scripts able to be put into the game? I don't remember seeing them) etc...
  16. I was browsing some mod with today and saw to my surprise the mod Kethane was still being supported after all this time. It was then that I remembered when I first started modding KSP with it likely being the first. So what was the first mod you added to KSP? Is it still supported after all this time or has it been lost to time? For me the first mods I installed where as follows. Kethane. Still an active mod that I haven't played with in ages. But now that I have some time I may pick it up again. BobCat's DEMVs and Garage. These where fun little rovers that seem to have been lost to time. Something to do with licencing I believe. But they were great when you couldn't build your own. Here's a link I found for an attempt at rebooting on of the mods. Doesn't look like it succeeded unfortunately. Mech-Jeb. My faithful companion. While have learned sense the first time I used it how to properly fly it's still nice to just let it do the work every so often. Especially on resupply missions to stations. So what where your first mod to install? Feel free to add to this. Also I'm still learning how to properly work on a forum so do give me a heads up if I grate on your nerves with my formatting or something. At least if this thread doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

  18. Show off some of your best helicopters, stock and modded. i am working on a Bell UH-1 iroquois, downoading breaking ground to make a custom rotor using servos and rotors. does anybody know any good mods for small arms weapons like a 7.62 machine gun?

Here's the thing: I want mods, but I have a potato for a computer (2014 Macbook Pro with an i7) I already have EVE, Scatterer, and Stock Visual Effects, but there's already a big decrease in frame rate. Could anyone suggest some mods that would work with my potato? I'm looking for visual mods and maybe some light parts mods. Thanks for your time.

What do we have to do to install mods , how to play to lots of mods at a time , and finally , which mods shall-I choose ? I have no idea which mods exist and which mods are the best . If you know the answer for one or more of my problems , can you answer me , please ?
  22. Hey KSP People! First Post, so I hope this is the right place. Lately i've been trying out some graphics mods like "Spectra", "Astronomers Visual Pack", "Environmental Visual Enhancements", "Stock Visual Enhancements", "Scatterer", ... as well as different Skyboxes. However, sadly, they all looked absolutely terrible. Especially the terrain on Kerbin was so awful thaat I just instantly quit. Some of them looked worse than the Vanilla game. I've installed all of them via CKAN, trying out their different configurations on different versions of KSP, but there's just not been a single mod that really convinced me. I'm currently on KSP 1.9.1 Am I doing something wrong? Are there any better mods that I don't know of? Do I need special configurations for those mods to work properly? I really hope somebody can help me with this, I've seen KSP look better in some YouTube videos and just can't achieve that level of visual realism it seems
  23. So I've been using a lot of mods in my current game of KSP, and one of my main projects at the moment is a space station. I've managed to dock several modules so far, but when I dock the latest module, return to the space centre and then go back to the space station, all of the new module's docking ports, RCS thrusters and solar panels are at 90 degrees to where they were upon launch. I've tried swapping out, replacing and removing various parts until the module is made from entirely stock parts, but it still happens. The part of the station I'm connecting this module to is nearly identical (it has ladders on the side, the new module does not), yet it's unaffected.   24. I have tried many cinematic and camera mods but nothing worked back in 1.7 and now I'm again finding these types of mods but no one works(I have 1.9 virsion) please help! Or do anyone have any camera mod which still works on 1.9 please tell
