  1. This is a forums where KSP console palyers can ask other console players questions. I think this will be helpful. KSP1.10 is coming to console.
  2. Is there a way to switch focus in the map view other than by clicking on an object and selecting "focus view"? The reason I am asking this is that often times it's literally impossible to click on the object you want to focus on. I don't know if it's a bug, but it seems if I have an interplanetary intercept, if I try to set focus to the CB in question, nothing happens when I click on it (can't even set it as active target, if it currently is not). Another example would be if I had maneuver nodes set up entering the Jool system, and I needed to go back and add/edit/etc., it takes an act of Congress to allow me to click on anything other than a maneuver node icon, regardless of the camera gymnastics I'm performing to try and line Jool up in my field of view.
  3. There's a bug that really annoys me. Whenever I drop a rover off of something like a nearby plane, then fly the plane, land it near the rover and switch to the actual rover, the rover starts floating in the air with no control. It slowly drifts upwards and I have to EVA my Kerbals off of it because it can't be recovered. Recently it's been happening with some other things and really annoys me.
  4. I got enhanced edition the day it came out and I've been loving it, but I've been wondering is it possible to maybe get mod support for KSP on Xbox/PS4? Thanks!

  6. How do you get ducts for the fan blades on console? I use a PS4 and cannot find any duct parts. I tried looking at the motor part action window to see if it was in the form of a shroud but I couldn't find it. I may have overlooked something but I've searched everywhere I can. Has anyone found out how?
  7. Hey so I am wanting to take a main rocket and have a small sub Satellite detach off and do it’s satellite stuff. I am new on ps4 and to the game in general just wondering what to do
  8. I'm playing on ps4. When I do the 3rd tutorial, Intermediate Construction, the game gets stuck as soon as I enter the VAB. Wernher Von says enter VAB. So I enter the VAB. Then once inside he tells me about all the wonderful things we'll be building so, I hit the X button for the next screen. The screen blinks, it says "saving..." in the top right corner but nothing else. I can keep hitting X and it's just more of the same, blink, saving... nothing. I shut down the console, reinstalled the game, nothing works... please help.
  9. This is my first craft I am posting here and a part of my Mystery Inc. Space Solutions playthrough on PS4. We damn near MISS everytime lol This is a stock craft utilizing parts from the DLCs. This craft went through a few evolutions as you can see by the designation and just like Preparation H you will wonder what happened to A through E. The last 3 versions ended up yielding a craft I was truly surprised with and hope to be able to see all of the non atmosphere bodies. It has a full science compliment along with 3 complete sets of science equipment for atleast the first few stops. 2 large drills, 1 large ISRU and 1 set of medium heat sinks at 11% saturation, refueled it on Mun in 6 hrs. It holds 18.2k LF and 220 oxidizer to power the 8 fuel cell arrays...realize this is probably excessive but testing always had skewed results. There are also 4 rtgs to cover keeping everything topped off during flight. It weighs in at just a hair over 150t and with 8 Nervs it has a TWR of 1.97 and 7.2k DV at Mun Launchpad. It was launched under its own power from that location. Due to part count issues and fps I kept this build as light as I could at 123 parts. Fps was the demise of the E3e which did successfully make it and land on Dres. This is a SS of the E3e and its original mining startup at Dres before my fps plummeted for some reason using the drills which prompted the comissioning of the E3f and the same current outfitting. I'm sure it could use improvements and obviously is why I am posting here but I am really looking for an opinion also on if this would keep capable of visiting the no atmosphere bodies in a single run. I'm not sure I can even make Moho or Eeloo. Unfortunately with PS4 the only gravity assist i can do consistently is Mun to Kerbin and exit SOI. It is currently the route this craft is taking to Dres. So sorry this was soo long winded but I really did enjoy this build as of so far. Im just unsure I can manage to see them all with this craft and no grav assists. Side note, those pylons were a nightmare to design and the E3e had to have external struts added to them to keep the from krakening lol I' m not sure I will try it with the F class when it is commissioned. Thanks for reading Shag Going to post a mysterious pic of the MISS Kerbalprise D1b. Its lander inspired me to build the E class. I'll post the pics of that build and details of its landing at both Ike and Duna as soon as I upload pics.
  10. Today Meeh Aerospace is finally going interplanetary and to signal the arrival of this momentous event, engineering presents the newest class of vessel.... The KSS Kerbalprise D1b This vessel is another Nerv build and is equipped with living quarters for 6 , full science compliment, and a rover with full science compliment and medium scanning arm. Jeb, Bob, and Helrick are the senior crew for this mission and they will be bringing Cernand, Valentina, and Dinie along for experience in future interplanetary missions. The crew become familiar with the apsects of the new explorer class and prepare for escape from Kerbin SOI....as Bob inspects the ouside of the ship he calls over comms, "Hey guys, you see there is ANOTHER ship attached to this thing!?!?!?!? Looks like they expect us to land with that...that....THING!!!" The crew contemplates on the looooong trip to Duna if this KerbBrain idea the enginners have to save fuel will actually work!!! Let alone land at both bodies........... The crew prepare and enter Ikes SOI and seperate from the new "Mothership" as Jeb coined it and yells at Valentina, "Don't get any bright ideas and go for a joy ride!!! We are a looooong way from home!!!" The landing goes far smoother than Jeb expected almost having autopilot of a sort with the new prograde and retrograde locks. As they land the debate becomes which body wpuld be better for the new deployed science....Bob presents his argument, "Surely Duna would be better because it is BIGGGER....BIGGER is BETTER!!!" Helrick speaks up and says, "BUT from a fuel standpoint we could technically jettision the extra weight here!!!" Bob stomps his boot "Bigger is better because bigger equals more research!!! End of discussion!!" Bob decides to scare Helrick back into his way of thinking lol They redock with the mothership and head for Duna.... Upon circularizing at Duna they realize the lander used over 85% of its fuel on ascent....the decision is made to refuel from the "Mothership" and continue the mission...... Once on the ground the crew get hard to work deploying the science tech....meanwhile Bob and Helrick go for another ride...... Once the crew returned, as enjoyable as the D1b lander was to fly, the decision was made it must be left behind to conserve fuel.... They say farewell to Duna and begin the long journey back to Kerbin hoping the rendevous ship is on time......someone at ground control thought it would be funny to give Jeb some Taco Night MRE's... sigh R&D revels at the sheer amount of data brought back from Duna and begin turning the gears on the next interplanetary mission..."If we can do Duna AND Ike then surely we can do Dres!!!!.....get to work!!!" The Kerbalprise E class was then commissioned.....Duh duh duuuuuuuuuhhhhh Side note: To those who struggle with piloting rovers especially small wheelbase rovers, I stick a small reaction wheel on the rover and set it to SAS only....I could make almost full speed turns and stay entirely level while also changing this resulted in no longer pitching forward with the throttle. That aspect only helped me greatly in PS4 and piloting my rovers. Hopefully that helps someone so until the Dres episode.....Fly safe!!! Or the appearance of it.....

  14. Hello, I just got the DLC on PS4Pro (latest KSP-version, all standard settings) and have some problems playing the historical missions. Right during the first mission: The Dawn of the Space Age: After successfully landing (Wernher told me so :)) the K-7 near (but not directly on the runway) the old airfield I return to the VAB either via the button at the top or via the mission diagram. I build the K7-B and want to launch. But here I am sent back to the landen K-7 on the island. Here Wernher briefs me on the 48km-flight. Somehow the spawning of new vehicles does not work, From now on, when I manually return to the space center, all building are locked except the Observation building from where I just can return to the landen K-7.
  15. Hello! I just created an account on the forums, so I apologize in advance if I’m posting this in the wrong place. Im hoping to get some information about the breaking grounds DLC. I am playing on Xbox 1. I was just wondering if anyone has any updated information on the subject. From what I understand, it took a while for the making history DLC to be released on consoles. I only just recently began playing and, by that time, making history had already been made available. I looked around the forums and other sites for any information relating to its release. I found a lot of speculation on the part of other players, but couldn’t find any “official” information. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place? Maybe I can’t find it because it’s not there? Can someone point me in the right direction, such as an official announcement or the like? I really cannot get enough of this game! I’ve been hooked for the past two months straight! I would really love the ability to have the expanded scientific rover tools and arms! I’m really looking forward to all the other components made available in breaking grounds. Again, if anyone has any information on this, I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
  16. I'm currently designing a multipurpose rocket destined for Minmus. It's actually a ship, a science space station and a science rover, all on the same rocket. The issue I have is that there are not enough custom action groups (CAGs) to cover all the things i need to do on all three craft. I had a few ideas for workarounds but was wondering if anyone could save me some time and maybe explain how things work behind the scenes. I'd considered that building the science station and science rover as separate craft, configuring the CAGs and then merging them with the main rocket might store the CAG configuration for later when they separated and became independent spacecraft again, but I don't know if KSP is that sophisticated. I'm also unsure of the exact behavior of the preset action groups (PAGs). I know that the game automatically adds things like toggles for landing gear and lights to the appropriate groups, but even when there is nothing visible in the RCS action group, it toggles all relevant devices on/off. Does it only do this when nothing is explicitly added to that group or will it always do that in addition to the actions added to it. Do any other action groups act that way, as well, such as Stage? I just don't want to find out mid-mission that activating the Stage action group will blow off a stage in addition to whatever other actions I configured in that action group. Thanks in advance for any insight.
  17. Hi all, I'm playing KSP EE on PS4, and I'm enjoying it most of the time. However, there is one issue with RCS that really bothers me. When I activate it and use L1+R1 (or L1+R2), instead of pushing the craft only "forward" (or "backward"), it also generates a radial thrust that makes the craft rotate. The craft stabilizes itself right away when I release the buttons, but I'm wasting a lot of monopropellant because of this. Does anyone experience this issue, too? Is it a bug or does it have to do with the craft configuration? Thanks for your help.

  20. My game is crashing during atmospheric reentry and also during ascension, both on Kerbin. This is a big letdown and is ruining any playability.. There are others who are having the same problems and I hope this to be solved as soon as possible. The blue screen error name is CE-34878-0. I'm playing on PS4 Pro; radial mode.
  21. I am new to the forums and have no clue on how to find any new info for the console version, I love the game and would hate to see it just abandoned. Also is there any new info on mods because the pc version seems to be their top priority, the console is great but just seems to be falling into the pit of no return. I'd just hate to see a fantastic game go to waste just because others players are having issues/ loss of interest.
  22. The History And Parts Pack, as well as the free update for KSP Enhanced Edition launch this Thursday, March 28th, on both the PS Store and the Xbox Marketplace!
  23. Does anybody knows any site explaining new parts detailed specifications? (like ksp wiki, but for consoles)
  24. Kerbal Space Program: History and Parts Pack is here! The first DLC for Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition is now available for players to enjoy on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The first downloadable content for the critically acclaimed space simulation game adds new content to Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition, featuring missions inspired by historical events, and a wealth of new parts for players to use across their KSP experience. Historic Missions History and Parts Pack includes 10 exciting missions inspired by humankind’s own space exploration. Now you can spacewalk, pull off a crash landing, and attempt to recreate some of the most memorable moments inspired by historic events. All with our unique Kerbal twist, of course. New Parts and a Vintage Suit This DLC also includes dozens of new parts along with a new astronaut suit, all inspired by the historic Space Race. Players can use these parts and suits throughout Kerbal Space Program. New Launch Sites! Additionally, you will also have the ability to launch your crafts from 4 additional complexes: the Woomerang Launch Site, the Dessert Complex, the Island Runway and a brand new Mun Launch Site, not currently available on PC! Free Update Coupled with the DLC, Kerbal Space Program Enhanced Edition is getting a content-filled console-optimized update that will take bits and pieces of all updates we have released on PC after 1.2.1; some of the ones that people like the most, as well as performance improvements, bug fixes, and more! Kerbal Personal Parachutes Personal Parachutes are coming to KSP Enhanced Edition! Kerbals with level 3 and above experience will have fully steerable personal parachutes. You will be able to deploy the chutes using the cursor or via the secondary radial menu. All part revamps up to PC 1.5 There has been a big effort on our side to give old parts a fresh new look, all with the intention of having a more sleek and cohesive part catalog. While staying true to the game’s original essence, the geometry and texture maps of these parts were completely redone. Some of these parts also include new texture variants to choose at will. Yes, you’re getting the variant switcher too! New Suits Both the recruit and veteran classic EVA and IVA Space Suits have been given a well-deserved overhaul and console players get to enjoy it now as well!
