v0.2.0 for KSP 1.x and 1.1.x.

  • Sound patch and don't-create-unloadable-parts patch by khr15714n
  • Saturn-Nova stringers texture and the inclusion of working normal maps generally by ferram4
  • Repackaged without bundled dependencies--get them separately! Oh and we have a readme now.

Is it correct that
GameData\ProceduralFairings-ForEverything\MeshAndDefaultTextures\fairing1.tga
GameData\ProceduralFairings-ForEverything\MeshAndDefaultTextures\fairing1_bump_NRM.tga

are 48 bytes and seem to be empty?

There a a few "transparent" textures in game, I'm missing the black variant.

Installing this mod unfortunately takes away ability to use the MainSailor fairings textures. The relevant fairing wall parts remain, but the actual texture is impossible to use or select. Known issue??

(Also noticing that some textures, like default, are extremely transparent compared to the more "designer" textures)

I just tried and said above is not true anymore

This one works, placing node approximately it should be. Just tested with 1 simple mk1 - FLT800 - LV 909 - decoupler stage.

Fairings side generated correctly

Yes, for 2 years this phrase stopped everyone wanted to fix KW expanded fairing bases :) . Joking. Fixed my post by the way...

Just wanted to share, because I love KW faring bases...

Also, I have noticed some of fairing sides have alpha channel enabled. This plus invisibility module makes them really hard to see in VAB. Also, I like to admire my rockets in VAB and want to see fairing as well. I fixed alpha channel and saved textures to DXT1 format, but not sure it is legit to share...
