Whats your favourite rocket?

The Sea Dragon. True atomic age American enginnering at its finest. Two stages, each of which has one massive nozzle. I believe it was to be hydrolox, refueled and launched at sea by a nuclear aircraft carrier or three.
...Its ullage motors look to be almost as big as the Saturn V's first stage engines.

Though anything with the Orion drive occupies a special place in my heart. The same place stroked by Micheal Bay films.

Just now, Bill Phil said:

Looks like a rocket to me... I'm not one for aesthetics in rocket designs.

I just like the boosters on it. Thats it! (Please note it is just my opinion)

Depends on criteria, overall Saturn 5 but not because it WAS big, it was amazing on multiple levels. Next is Atlas, the only single stage to orbit LOx/Kerosene launch vehe. Yeah I can hear all you nah sayers w/o my computer but here's why.

Ground ignited engine plus ALL tankage goes into orbit. End of story Who cares if a few engines get dropped along the way, so does some propellant from those tanks which BTW were magnificent engineering marvels in themselves, cold worked 301 stainless steel 210 KSI tensile.

Thanks for your time,

KM
