exactly, just insert the following after point 7:

8. get stranded on the mun

9. rescue mission

10. rescue mission gets stranded too (you forgot about Mun's gravity AGAIN)

11. rescue mission to rescue the rescue mission

12. all 3 missions now stuck in LKO because you forgot chutes

13. see #9

I've recently started playing KSP and found the Science mode to be the best way to learn. I found the rendezvous/docking tutorial impossible, but I've since put together a couple of orbital stations made up of multiple launches. These forums help A LOT, with loads of experienced players keen to see others get the most from the game. That said, KSP is (IMHO) often about building, failing, tinkering and repeating until it works.
