plane surfaces

guys, i admit my search foo is weak!
i did see I’m sure a post ages ago on smooth flying of planes, unfortunately I’m stuck on mouse and keyboard at moment, no joystick or pad, but when i see some planes in videos fly they turn really smooth, i believe its re assigning inputs like aileron etc, can someone show me the posts or tell me how to do it.... cheers a lot Edited November 25, 2015 by crestofawave

Right click you control surfaces in the SPH/VAB to change how they behave. And fly using smooth controls; [key]Caps Lock[/key]. (The orange pitch/roll/yaw markers should be blue.)
If you plane is properly designed you should be able to fly it without SAS. Any minor imperfections can be trimmed by using [key]Alt[/key] + [key]W[/key] / [key]A[/key] / [key]S[/key] / [key]D[/key]. (Reset all trim with [key]Alt[/key] + [key]X[/key].)

If you're stuck with a keyboard, you have a few options:
