KSP compatible Mars Heightmap

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had a mars heightmap that I could use with kopernicus, to add "mars" to KSP.

I found these:

But all except the 2nd one are quite far from a format that I could use with copernicus (unless I just off the poles in the last one, and removed the text).

I'd also have to convert it to greyscale with intensity corresponding to the color... which I'm not sure I can do.

Has anyone already done something like this? Does anyone have a file I could use?

Real Solar System has Mars in the game, you might be able to just install Mars.

Ah, well, that could simplify things a lot... now I just need to scale it down, and add an ocean like I did to duna... then move it to kerbin pseudo-L5
