Flag Glitch 1n 1.1

I just installed the 1.1 release, whenever I mouse over certain parts, the flag's backdrop becomes transparent, showing the scenery behind the part.

I'm running a fresh install of KSP 1.1.1230

My specs are: Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11.2, 2.8Ghz i7, 16GB RAM, GeForce GT 750M 2048 MB, 512 GB SSD.

The glitch happens when mousing over a part with the flag enabled from certain angles.

I am also having a similar issue but only with the cockpits. If I mouse over some of them in flight whilst viewing from a certain angle the flag goes semi transparent. In the SPH when viewing from certain angles (usually with the mouse hovering over the cockpit) the flag again goes semi transparent. 

I am running windows 8.1 with an i7 processor, 12gb of ram and an Nvidia gtx 850m graphics card.
