Missing parts?

All right, I was surfing the web, going to the ksp parts wiki, when I noticed two parts not in my game. 10 meter heat shield and HG-55. Now I run ksp 1.0.5, is it the latest version? Help.

Latest version is 1.1.3, both those parts have been added since 1.0.5.

One useful piece of information, whenever you're looking at the KSP wiki:

If you're looking at a particular part's page, for example:

http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Heat_Shield_(10m)

...then in the info panel over on the right-hand side, one of the pieces of information it has is "Since version ___".  That will tell you when that piece was added to the game.

So, for example, in the case of the 10m heat shield linked to above, it says "Since version 1.1".  Therefore, that tells you that if you're running something before 1.1 (such as 1.0.5), then you won't have it.

You'll also note that the version number (1.1 in the above) is actually a link to the KSP versions page on the wiki:

http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Version_history

...which will not only tell you what is the current version of KSP (1.1.3, at the moment), but also when each version was released.
