Devnote Tuesday: 1.2 Pre-release, the bug hunt and more!

Love the way this is shaping up. Been playing the pre-release and so far the speed of loading and scene shifting is impressive. Best of all so far NO BUGS! Of course I've recently been playing 1.1.3 with Realism Overhaul so, yeah, used to really long load times and some hefty bug issues :) But still this is way better than I recall any version of KSP since 0.23.

One thing that has bugged me recently (I think since 1.0) is that the large lander legs now orient on the leg body when extended, rather than the mounting plate of the leg. For most situation this is fine, but when you rotate a main craft section upside down, then try to mount a lander leg on it, once you flip it upside down it mounts at an angle by default. Yes, you can shift the angle to get it right, but it's frustrating. There are several fuel tanks where I regularly use them upside down on the bottom of craft... right where the landing legs go :)

See this week's DNT. I expect you'll be happy.
