ksp escape pod challenge

How is this challenge scored? By number of kerbals in the pod? By cost per kerbal? By anything else? Some idea of scoring could attract more attention to the challenge, as it introduces an element of competition.

Also, I think it would be good if you had separate categories for stock and modded entries. That might help to bring more people to attempt the challenge (e.g. I've been putting escape mechanisms on most of my new stations, but I play in a modded game so currently they'd be ineligible).

i would suggest this rules:

"Our company searches a vehical to rescue stranded kerbals from LKO (about 100km NN). The best pod is that one that has the lowest price to kerbal ratio. You have to note that we never have more than ten kerbals on our spacestation, so thats the maximum for kerbals that counts to the price-per-kerbal-ratio."

For those times when lawn chairs are a needless frivolity, we bring you the standing-places-only escape pod for only 1830 (including the decoupler). If you have ten kerbals, that's only 183 funds per Kerbal! If you have more Kerbals, it's even cheaper!

Fits at least 10 Kerbals and is certified safe and reliable. Can survive steep reentry, power loss during deorbit burn and more. Just don't time warp with Kerbals inside. And don't keep them inside when landed, the trip down is uncomfortable enough to induce... drastic behavior in some.

- Be quantum teleported outside pod walls possibly, but not limited to, into start-hot plasma
- Be catapulted at superluminal speed out of kerbol system
- Be spagetti-teared while alive before being turned back to normal (turning back is indicative only, not guaranteed by pod system)
- Be unpleasantly eaten by space Kraken
- Break physic as we know it forcing solar system to a complete stop
- Cause universe to segfault in protest

This pod is as Kerbal as it can be!
