I love watching live rocket launches. It's just amazing when you think that this vehicle that will launch in just a couple minutes will carry its payload all the way to earth orbit. The whole launch really excites me, almost as much as 4th of July fireworks.

Aww Why most launches happen smack in the middle of the night for me? Thank Tesla for YT and other streaming sites - though watching replays takes a good chunk of thrill out of the experience.

Thing that gets me is watching that launch, or any Soyuz or progress, you're seeing basically the same thing that you would have seen when the first satellite was launched or the first person in space launched!
