Cannot left click orbit / create a maneuver node sometimes.

Recommended Posts

On my highly modded install I sometimes have the problem, that the left click on the obit just stops working.
So I can not create a maneuver node anymore, for example. (Everything is unlocked, so I can create nodes and have patched conics.)
It works, too. But for any reason sometimes it stops working in flight.
Communication is also aviable. I'm sure, that it's not a career thing, but a bug.

Does anyone had this problem already and knows which mod (combination?) could cause this?

This can happen even unmodded if you're editing a node, especially if you've right-clicked it to get the delete/orbit gizmo, as that doesn't seem to play nice with the rest of map mode.  Clicking off the node so that the gizmo goes away fixes it sometimes, and if not, left-clicking it to get back to the normal editing gizmo and making a minor adjustment always fixes it for me.  (Took a lot of trial and error to figure that out...)

Just hitting M twice to reenter map mode will also work, but that can be annoying because then you have to reset your position and pinned info.

P.S. This also applies if you suddenly can't use the scroll wheel for zooming in map mode.

Thx for the suggestions. :) I hope they help others, too.

I will give them a try. In my case even quit the career to the KSP main menu and reentering the career and then the vehicle, didn't fixed the problem. I assume this is a mod conflict for me. I wonder if the input locks are reset when re-entering the career save. If not, this could be an option to look at.

If you still have the problem after the Bugfix (like me) then you also may have the same simple problem as me. I was in some strange mode and could only exit it by pressing Escape. After that, interaction with the map was possible again. But took me 5 minutes to figure it out.
