One day Bill walks up to your boss in the engineers cafeteria and tells him that he wants to do something crazy. so he asked him if he would like to jump over a space station. he said: "yes"

you boss goes up to you and tells you: " you have to get a large space station into such a low orbit around a large atmosphere-less planet or moon were if it were oriented wrong it would crash. then have bill jump over it.  my attempt, unfortunately  valentina snuck onboard :(

This would be interesting, if it were even possible. It is possible to get into an extremely low orbit on a body that is a perfect sphere, but it's nearly impossible to do so on a body with mountains and craters. Plus the velocity at elevation ~0m would be MASSIVE compared to a stationary Kerbal, and any station would be HUGE compared to the jump height of a Kerbal. The "station" would probably be an M-beam or something, whizzing by at near-maximum velocity, at the tallest elevation on the body, into a Kerbal at higher than physics-frame speeds, so the beam would go through the Kerbal regardless of whether he jumped or not.

if you don't want to do a large space station then you don't have to, it could just be a command pod. it could just be the mun or even minmus for all I care (not gilly though, thats too easy). but it is possible.

This won't work. Craft in very low orbits will be auto-deleted, because while "on rails" (not the currently operated craft), they will be assumed to have hit terrain.

Before posting a challenge, please make sure it is possible by performing the feat yourself. Since this one is not, the thread will be closed now.
