KSP crashes while in loading screens.

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I am pretty new to KSP, i thought it would be fun if i installed some mods, everything was running fine, until the game started crashing.

It only crashes in the loading screens, fx. If i click ESC then Space Center, or if i click Launch. (those loading screens)

Here is my one of the crash folders that KSP generated (uploaded to dropbox and zipped)

Hi @CalvinDK, this might not be the cause but you have two programs hooking into your system memory while KSP is running, and such programs have been known to cause KSP to crash.

These are EasyHook32.dll and KeyHookDLL_x86.dll

Disable or uninstall these and see if it helps.

You're probably just running out or memory to be honest @CalvinDK, as you're running the 32bit version of KSP.

Environment Info
Win32NT FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF  Args: KSP.exe

32bit applications can't access more than about 3.5 to 4 gigs or memory, no matter how much you actually have.

And your error log does show you're out of RAM.

Error occurred at 2017-03-05_175632.
D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\KSP.exe, run by Calvin.
24% memory in use.
0 MB physical memory [0 MB free].
0 MB paging file [0 MB free].
0 MB user address space [84 MB free].
Write to location 01000000 caused an access violation.

Without seeing your dxdiag I have to assume you do have a 64bit PC and operating system, so try starting the 64bit version of KSP in Steam instead.
