Old DOS Shuttle Sim

Has anybody heard of this?

   

It's called Shuttle: The Space Flight Simulator, it was made for DOS in 1992, and I absolutely love it!

Though then again I like a game where you essentially flip switches for an hour or so, then have to land the Shuttle using keyboard controls, so perhaps I'm just mad.

It's on abandon-ware sites nowadays, so if you want to you can all have a go yourselves, but if you want the lovely sound as seen in the video, you'll have to set up a Roland MT-32 sound emulator.

... Just thought I'd share what I think is a cool old game that nobody's probably heard of.

Still do, on DOSBox.

Great game. Never managed to play on higher than "commander, please come over here and press this button, sir" difficulty though. ^^

But I could draw on the experience during my first ksp EVAs from the satellite capture and MMU missions here.

The dithering is real. Oh, the dithering!

If I did not know better, I would have said this is something recent that was made to look old. I guess the original makers should take that as a compliment.
