Galactic's Exploration and Colonization.Co

Welcome to Galactic's Exploration and Colonization.Co, we are a company specialized in the construction of motherships, landers and boosters. Although we are quite renown for our motherships, especially purple rock and red spice. (Sadly, they are not for sale ;P) Currently, this thread will be barren for now except for our renown TITAN class booster and our Gargantua class rover. So feast your eyes on them for now, but please stick around for more!

TITAN CLASS SSTO LIFTERS

Our TITAN class SSTO Lifters are immensely large SSTO lifters capable of delivering 500 tons or more to LKO, currently our most powerful booster (The Koios) can lift 1250 tons to LKO, but plans for a 2250 ton lifter are underway! The TITAN class SSTO Lifters are outfitted with inflatable heat shields, parachutes and large solar arrays to help power it during flight, help it survive reentry and slow it down during ascent. The only thing you would spend for the TITAN class SSTO lifters is fuel and fuel only. Currently, we have only 1 TITAN booster, the ATLAS, on sale.

The TITAN class booster is a large SSTO booster capable of delivering 500 tons into orbit with over 1000 m/s of delta V left. It is equipped with 16 Mammoth engines for minimum thrust and 8 large solar panels for power generation (we highly advice you to open them at 40Km or more, or else they will break.) The TITAN is unmanned, so if any mistakes arise, your crew is not in danger (unless your transporting large crewed vessels into orbit.) It is, of course, only capable for cargo below 500 tons, anything higher and you might struggle to get it into orbit. It also currently has no way to land (which is why we have no download link for it yet, its still in its alpha stages.) And has a very poor torque (at least it HAS toque.) We are hoping to improve it later, but for now it will remain as an image.

ATLAS SSTO Lifter

DownloadATLAS

Mass: 6577.99 tons

Parts: 581 without payload

Max payload: 750 tons

Delta V: 5486m/s without payload

TWR: 1.49 - 8.78

Width: 40.7m

Length: 40.7m

Height: 50.3m

Action Groups: 1 - Solar panel toggle

2 - Inflate the inflatable heat shields

The ATLAS is a TITAN class booster capable of lifting 750 tons, yes, 750 tons in LKO. This booster has 24 mammoth engines and more fuel than the ATLAS, but if you only need 500 tons or less to orbit, we suggest the ATLAS for cost efficiency. The ATLAS is the only booster currently in the BETA stage, meaning it can be downloaded and can be used, although it might still have bugs (hence its in BETA.) It has an immense amount of advanced reaction wheels for large amounts of torque. And can settle into a 100kmx100km orbit easily. Unlike TITAN, ATLAS has parachutes! So you can actually land! ATLAS has 3 stages, first stage is boosters, second stage is decouple (for cargo, we highly suggest you do this once in orbit.) and third stage is parachutes (Remember, do it at a safe speed and altitude.)

If you find any bugs, please message us!

Interstellar class Rovers

The interstellar class is probably our smallest class for rovers. However, it features some of our largest rovers yet, of which the largest is the Gargantua rover (currently.) The main purpose for rovers in the Interstellar class is for large scale transportation across interplanetary, and potentially interstellar colonies. Currently, only 1 rover exists in the Interstellar class. But more will come!

Gargantua Rover

Spoiler

The gargantua is a large scale rover with IRSU and exploration capabilities. This rover has recently been bought in bulk by jebediah kerman's junkyard and spaceship parts co to aid for the construction of they're munar base, as well as to act as large scale transport/refueling vessels at said base. The rover has ladders so you dont have to use a jetpack to fly up to its main living quarters. And it has 8 large wheels to help transport its large bulk across its surface. The rover even hosts to a small exploration vessel capable of orbiting the mun or minmus with ease! And don't worry, wifi is also included! There are downsides to it, like the TITAN class boosters. For example, it needs to dock with habitation bases with docking ports at the same height as the rover, so all of the bases we have constructed currently have this leverage to enable the rover to dock. It also is slow, very slow. It weights 80 Tons and even 8 of our top tier wheels wont accelerate it quickly. However, you should be grateful that it can move at all, or else this beast would just be a literally permanent base on wheels...
