How to Use OBS with KSP

SO I'm trying to use OBS Studio to record KSP, and I've done it before, but I had to use "Display Capture", which slows down my computer a lot. So when I use "Window Capture" or "Game Capture", the program doesn't record anything, it just is black, and only records sounds.

What should I use as the Source?

Hm. Full screen or windowed mode?

Windowed - I'm playing in the background right now.

Hm. Try video source capture?

Should be noted that I'm running a slightly older version of OBS studios.

I'll try that, and I also use an older version - 14.2

These are the options I see when I click on "Add Source":

-Media Source

-Text

-Display Capture

-Window Capture

-Game Capture

-Video Capture Device  <-- This is my webcam

-Audio Input Capture

-Audio Output Capture

I have two options:

chrome.exe

KSP_x64.exe

The KSP.exe one just gives me a black recording - sound only.

Well it's a start. Hm. Try start OBS before KSP. Then, if still black, move the window around. Select it. Sometimes it goes black when KSP isn't selected so when your looking at OBS, KSP isn't selected and therefore, not viewed.

Okay, I'll try that in a second - definitely not landing an SSTO.

I have checkboxes for:

Capture any fullscreen application

Multi-adapter compatibility

Force Scaling

Allow Transparency

Limit capture framerate

Capture Cursor*

Use anti-cheat compatability hook*

*= box checked

I also have the options for what window to record and window match priority
