Lego Cool Thing

Yeah, been following that since saabfan made his submission. It's cool, but his original submission was cooler. This one seems to depend on a lot of stickers where the original had a lot more individual pieces to provide detail. Kinda bummed about that. Not that I'm not going to buy it, mind you.

My thoughts exactly. I preferred the look of the original submission. Wonder if there'll still be any internal detail - that looked cool too.

But like you - I'll still be buying it I expect.

Are there internal tanks? That would make it for me.

There were in the original concept models. The deluxe version had internal tanks with detachable panels in the rocket skin for viewing them. However that did make the deluxe model much weaker structurally (IIRC), so the idea may have been abandoned for the production model. Not sure - haven't seen pictures either way.

Come to think of it, having some tiny duct tape roll pieces (and other equipment) would be awesome.

I dont think they could make it to scale. If they could though, I don't think you could see them.

I would like to have this. Sadly, i dont think its going to be avaible in my country, and even if it is, i would not have enough money or people will say Lego is for kids poop. So probably not for me.

People who say "[insert whatever] is for kids" are people who have a child's idea of what growing up means.

These "people" are dead wrong. You dont grow out of lego until age 99, officially:

Yeah, but the only problem is that once you get past around 70-80, the shaky hands start to get to you and you end up with something like this
