Question about recovery rates

Let's say I have a space plane I launch from the launchpad. I fly it, then land it back at the runway. Do I still get the 100% recovery rate, or is recovery rate distance from launch site? Thanks!

Recovery rate is distance from runway or launchpad.  On either you get 100%, around KSC you get 98% (IIRC) and then it tails off from there.

You can always land on either. You can also recover, AFAIK, from the launchpad in Baikerbanur.

However, the runway is much more forgiving than the launchpad. After a few launches the 100% recovery target area on the launchpad shrinks from the whole launchpad hex down to just the physical lauchpad itself -- which is really a very small target. But the runway always gives you 100% everywhere.

100% at launchpad and 98% at Baikerbainur grounds. 

IMHO the Old Airfield should have similar rates.  But AFAIK don't have. 

(maybe someone can check in game to be sure)
