Software for Plotting a graph from a csv file

My son was assigned a science project for comparing things right before we went to Disneyland, so he decided to measure the g-forces on the rides. We found an iPhone app that could record the forces over time, but its archives don't show the graphs like it does in real time. It does, however, export the recorded data as csv files. Can someone suggest a way to convert those back to graphs via software, or at least to display the number so he can graph it by hand? Thanks. He only has the weekend to get his data organized, the project is due Monday but he has a bit of extension cuz of this trip.

Thx

Can't Excel import csv files? I tried it just now in Libreoffice, and it worked.

Csv just means "comma separated values," so they should be human readable text files; if you have to resort to graphing by hand, Notepad should be sufficient for extracting the data.

This might be helpful, vis-a-vis Microsoft Excel. Warning, PDF.

Thanks for that. It took a bit of mucking around, but I got a three-line graph produced for the first ride. I never would have figured it out without that guide. Now to show my son how to do it....

I had figured I could use Excel, but was seeing if there were other suggestions. That guide was a total bonus that made it much easier.
