Wet workshop makes most sense if you want lots of internal volume, See two main uses, one is for volume demanding experiments like plant growth in zero g, second is an space hotel there you want room to play and fool around.

Nano racks main business is deploying cubesats from the ISS and selling lab services they sent up there

I wish they're not going only for something this size (or even that particular upper stage). Waay too pathetic if they stops...

A possible headache : they'll have to near-continually make a new design for a new booster. It's not a sell-a-product bussiness, it's a consultant and contractor bussiness then ! May as well the govt gives it to the usuals...

Actually, no - alright I'm not going to comment on impact resistance, but all pressurized modules in space are effectively balloons. Goes in the right direction I think...
