Stock BDA dogfighters 1.2 (youtube)

BACK BY DOPE DEMAND !

 

We tried BDA in 1.3 mwah, maybe later.

So let's get back to the time of walkmans and boxy T.V's, it's mortal combat time....

 

Rules:

-Stock + BDA only !

-max engines = 2
-max missiles = 6
-max guns = 4
-guns must be static
-no other mods besides BDA
-no reaction wheels
-no radiators
-no drones
-no command seats
-no multiple engine clipping
-no sci-fi stuff, must look like a plane.
-plane must have at least 200LF
-don't clip your flight computer and weapon manager internal, they must be visible from the outside

*Don't change settings marked in red

How it works:

 

                                                         "Auto racing began 5 minutes after the second car was built."

 

And so will this challenge, as soon as 2 people send in their planes the challenge starts.
The winner of the first round will go up against the next contestant and so on and so on.

All battles will be 3vs3 and recorded by me and posted on Youtube.

Had to rebuild it in 1.2.2 as the 1.3 BDA crashes my game while loading the Asset Bundles.

I believe you may be able to go to some form of version history or something. I'm not sure though.

Yeah, I found that to, but it's gunrange is 3070, default alt is 1000 and min alt is 420...

It's minimum altitude is still quite high. 

The craft is fully published now.

Triop can you not switch between vessels with the [ ]  keys just for this round? I think it causes the missiles to explode even in 1.2

I think my planes are gonna need every missile when going against a laser craft.

Yes I agree, after multiple simulations I can say that that is a thing.

I'm stopping this challenge and work on a new one were we should use only guns, sorry guys, but I'll be back.

I can pick this up and continue for 5-6 more rounds. 

After trying my hands at recording, I found it's super easy with an Nvidia card, just Alt-F9 then click upload. Anyone got a plane to send it?

OP's original rules apply. Also no laser turrets even if it's fixed forward, perfect accuracy is kinda cheap.

No, but I needed a time off with BDA.

I don't like how missiles behave, maybe we should stick to gunfights, I don't know.
