Binary systems

You should be able to start a new game with a binary system with 2 stars maybe with  red dwarfs, white dwarfs or even super massive stars like betelgeuse. There could be systems with neutron stars blackholes allowing huge gravity assists. To sling shot space crafts to travel to other systems. This is like universe sand box but you can fly space crafts.

Sure, sure, hundreds of different systems, all procedurally generated, with multiple options to choose at the beginning...

Remember, KSP is not a Sci-Fi/Far Future spaceflight simulator. There are a few Kopernicus planet packs that add in binary system, and there are also mods that add in warp drives, it think that is what you are looking for,

My opinion is the same as NSEP's.

 

I'd also rather have a computer than a mix of melted plastic and molten metal.
