Mk2 and Mk3 decoupler/seperators?

5 posts in this topic

I've had numerous flights where I fly spaceplanes using Mk2 and Mk3 parts. When things go wrong, and I want to eject the command module or something, I can't put a small stack separator or decoupler between the fuselage and cockpit. It creates a weird gap between them. So, wouldn't it be better for the addition of Mk2 and Mk3 decouplers or separators that lie flush with the fuselage? Thoughts on this idea?

Place a decoupler then put a few struts in the gap and then offset it until it is flush. Problem solved! :)

Or sandwitch the decopler with 2 MK3-3.75 m adapters.

Or, install either Quiztech or the Mk2 Expansion mod.  One or both have a mk2 decoupler

Don't think quiztech has, know m2x has though. Just gotta Mod It, Clip It, or Change Cockpit It.
