Developer Console

Question

I might seem dumb right now but how do i turn on the developer console?

I think it is ctrl+alt+d, or something like that. I'll check it when I'm home

I can't seem to be able to open the developer console. 'ctrl-alt-shift-d' isn't doing anything.

Because you are looking at an old post. Nowadays it is Alt-f12

Well that worked but it's only a log of some kind. There's no buttons or anything.

Do you have any Mods installed that have Plugins? I've encountered a problem where it actually stopped the Debugger from working correctly.

There are also several pages of the console, try dragging it around and stuff

Um it didn't work on mine. Is there certain computers/laptops and/or versions it works on? Because I a hp laptop wit windows 10.

But that aside, the debug menu is ALT+F12 and there is a dev console or something showing the stuff that's being written on the log (or whatever non laymen actually call that) which toggles by pressing ALT+F2

Check if you have FN lock activated so instead of F12 the laptop is registering whatever FN+F12 does in your laptop. IIRC Steam's default screenshot key is F12, so if you have the Steam version, that may be causing conflicts (remap it)
