Perfect for night-time shots and sunrise/set shots, the incredibly flat ground means no visual obstacles besides the horizon itself, providing the perfect opportunity for views of Tylo, Vall and of course, Jool. Have yet to try out the Southern pole, but I imagine results will be very much the same. Examples of this stunning location below. Average dV before undocking: 5600 m/s. 1st stage cargo SSTOs are returning home from this orbit. ach of them is able to return to KSC from anywhere, using ~500 of remaining fuel. That means, that's good functional SSTO with plenty of DeltaV, or 2 SSTOs and one shuttle-like plane with really big amount of usable fuel.
