TMA-3.

Since I had to Google what the hell TMA-3 was supposed to be the answer is wrong.
All I could find Google-ing TMA-3 was a 2003 Soyuz mission  and a landmine. Neither looks anything close to my image.

TMA-3 was the third monolith (the one found orbiting Jupiter) in  the "2001: A Space Odyssey" series, in 2010. TMA -> Tycho Magnetic Anomaly, after the fact that the first monolith was highly magnetized is what led to its discovery buried on the surface of the Moon in the first place.

Look what I found in deep space. First one to name it correctly earns a cookie.

Hmmm, on one hand it is hexacore probe with two elevons and radial chute(?)... On second look it is just a debris, as it has no antenna, no battery, no pv panels. Frankly it is both. (a cube sat recreation?)

However, the overal silhuete... it almost ring a bell, but despite "i know it" - I have no idea. It somehow resembles an electricity symbol (flash) or an 'S' shaped in style of infamous ww2 german elite units symbol...

I give up :-)

I dunno, does it have a Ressikan flute stowed somewhere aboard?

Yeah that has to be it, a pretty obscure reference, how the heck did you remember that?

A cookie for the both of you. It's the Kataan probe from StarTrek TNG (The Inner Light, S5E25) It is indeed the one that gave Picard the Ressikan memories and the flute.

Some time ago I randomly ran into an image of it and instantly knew it would not be hard to recreate it.

I've been a Trekkie since 1966. And "The Inner Light" is one of the best Trek episodes of all time. :)

1) My rockets keep flipping, what should I do?

2) My new job flipping houses is going very well.

 3) Clara and Ashildr made this look so easy. Where's that Type 40 TARDIS manual again?
