An F/A-18E Super Hornet takes off from a naval airbase.

img%5D

Flying low over the base. Maybe a little too low...

img%5D

Hiiiiighwaaaay tooooo thhhheeee danger zone...

img%5D

Maaaake you taaaake me on your miiighty wiiings across the skkkkkyyyyyyyyyyyy- okay, I'll stop.

This Super Hornet recreation is probably my favorite craft that I ever built in this game. Come check it out (and maybe download it) in this link!

And now for your regular share of me advertising my own mission report. Enjoy!

The newly developed Dexterity-3 rocket prepares for its maiden flight.

img%5D

We have liftoff!

img%5D

Booster sep.

img%5D

The fairings are away, and the payload, Scout/CommSat-1, is revealed!

img%5D

The payload is released into a highly elliptical orbit. Soon, an identical rocket and payload will be launched to complete the two-satellite relay network.

The Dexterity-3, while small, is still a very versatile and efficient launch vehicle. I'm planning on using it to launch the first interplanetary probes! Follow along with the Dexterity-3's development in my mission report. Or don't. Whatever you feel like.

My first interplanetary ship in KSP 2 exploration mode (at 50% science gain). First mission: Duna landing and return. It is named Bertje aap 2 (Bertje aap was the name of my first ever interplanetary ship in ksp 1 which did a
mission to Eve orbit. dont ask what it means, its a long story). It is meant to be expanded for more missions to other places as the playthrough progresses

An early variation of a CS-38 Talon (made for @Kerbalsaurus's excellent mission report Beyond) takes of from the Kerbal Space Center.

img%5D

It is designed to train new Kerbonauts and conduct atmospheric science.

img%5D

It is very maneuverable and capable of doing an impressive range of stunts.

img%5D

It can also just barely reach Mach 1.

img%5D

The underwing mounted science pod. It comes attached to a decoupler in case the pilot needs to do an emergency jettison.

img%5D

img%5D

It also features a novel system, which we at CalSpace call EJECT (Emergency Jettison of Cockpit Trigger) System.

Get it now on KerbalX!

Alright, we all know what's going to happen next, and I'm not going to delay it any further.

MORE F/A-18 SUPER HORNET SCREENIES!

img%5D

img%5D

Firing Mavericks!

img%5D

For training, an F/A-18 conducts a low-altitude bombing run on the old Island Airstrip.

img%5D

On approach back to the air station.

img%5D

A pair of F/A-18Es patrol the skies over a [REDACTED] airbase.

img%5D

Tighten formation!

img%5D

The above three photos are indeed from, you guessed it, my mission report.

img%5D

An improved F/A-18 takes off from the Kola NAS.

img%5D

Probably my best shot of the Super Hornet I've ever taken.

img%5D

Firing our two Maverick laser guided missiles.

img%5D

Deploying flares!

img%5D

Ditching the drop tanks to gain back some maneuverability, an important feature for close air-to-air engagements.

img%5D

Firing an AIM-120 AMRAAM. For a fighter of its size, an F/A-18 can carry an impressive amount of armament.
