List of rules from the forum games rule list this thread breaks:

- No defined rules for said game (against rule 1)

- thread has long since turned into a chat thread, not a game thread (against rule 2)

- most posts on thread are variations on the single message "click" which counts as spam (against rule 3)

- this thread really does not have a topic which makes following all "stay on topic rules impossible to follow for all those who participate

- this "game" probably falls under the mod vs users category (against rule 5)

The obedience of all who participate in this thread to rule 2.2 m) is also questionable. This thread also does not have a real topic which makes following all "stay on topic rules impossible to follow for all those who participate.

For all these reasons I formally submit to the moderating jury the ruling should be a permanent locking of this thread.

Spoiler

The opposing side submits that "only Sith Lords deal in absolutes" and all the arguments brought forward are excellent reasons this thread should be kept open.

Don't Click This.
Isn't the rule enough obvious? Just don't click this.

It's not a chat, it's a competition. Some players lock it, some players - unlock, others - cheerlead (btw now an official sport, iirc).

Why? There are also many posts varying "don't click". Not sure which kind is "most".

Maybe this thread should be in Kerbal Network as a discussion about "whether this topic should be locked or ulocked?", but it definitely has a topic.

Users cannot change this thread status, it's a "mods vs mods" game with a public feedback.

It isn't, because "2.2m" is about:

  • "message that is used to needlessly bump threads" - but these messages follow the real-time events sequence: when mods lock/unlock it.
  • "raise ones own account visibility and/or increase post count" - Forum Games doesn't increase post count, afaik

So, looks very possible that CastleKSide user breaks several community rules at once by his post:
(Please, don't look the spoiler if you are not a member of mods team to follow the rule .)

(Spoiler)

Disclaimer: This spoiler doesn't call for moderator action or try to enforce something, because this were a 3.2 rule violation.

Definitely, "2.2m. Any variation on the type of message that is used to needlessly bump threads, raise ones own account visibility and/or increase post count; "
We can presume that he didn't know that this forum section increases post count, as he accuses others in this.

Obviously
"3.2 Moderator action requests. Do not publicly call for moderator action or try to enforce the guidelines yourself. Politely informing someone of a rule is fine, but it's best to just report the post. "
If he doesn't, then this spoiler doesn't, too.

And at last, he was trying to start a roleplaying game with Star Wars background. (rule 2.2j)
And probably this is the real objective of his post:

As Sith Lords are opposing side, probably himself he prefers Jedi team.

(Btw, isn't it also a "2.2e. Any discriminatory (racist, sexist, etc.) language..." violation?
Why discriminate Sith Lords for their believes?)
