I've had a Samwise, and a Dildo. Not on the same mission, unfortunately .

My current favorite is Buzz. He does all the dangerous stuff. I think the list of premade names should include all astronauts (and kosmonauts?), though. That way we could have Christer and Story!

My favorites that have come up in my astronaut pool are so far Al Kerman and Doodski Kerman.

Sadly I lost both of them to a vicious stall in an SSTO on reentry. I have since learned to install contingency abort systems on all my SSTOs and make strategic use of F5 and F9.

The ones named after real astronauts are my faves. Since 0.19, I've had Gus (Grissom), Jim (Lovell), Buzz (Aldrin) and Frank (Borman). I've also currently got a Lars, but I don't know who he's named after.

It's unlikely, but you could get Bilbo, Samwise, and/or Merry Kerman. Then you'd be obligated to have them launch the One Decoupler into the heart of the sun.

I love my Kerbals named Gerrim, Seekin and Kelrie Kerman. They've been on a lot of flights, and their names are very "kerbal."

I've even used their names in my KSP fan-fic.
